Great work. This video captures what WoW used to capture in people during its early years..... curiosity-driven immersion, fun mechanics, and suspension of disbelief (like really good films). You should be able to forget that you are sitting at your PC (or in front of your TV for console gamers) and feel like you and/or your character are part of some epic world that's exciting, interesting, and complex. It's not easy, but the next MMO that can make that magic happen is going to be awesome.

People drool over these kind of graphics in the newer mmos. If wow did this say goodbye to variety in gear and transmog and hello to cash shop costumes. They'd never make thousands of item models in high fidelity without monetizing it like games do now. While it looks cool as a consumer its not practical without it being cash shop base and that removes the ability to be unique and 100% custom as it is now.

Honestly? The only scene that impressed me was the Orc starting area. There's a reason WoW's painterly aesthetic is timeless and beloved. This is just an ugly mismatch of poorly placed old assets with background scenery from what appears to be a game made in 2010. The lighting in many scenes is completely overblown. Odd character animations and clumsy camera, too.

Yeah, part of the charm of Vanilla WoW , the graphics were amazing, but it wasn't a over the top realistic looking game. This takes away from WoW , looks like every other PS4 and PS5 game.. this could be a Monster Hunter mod

They made seprate classic servers they can make a separate server for an unreal engine version of WoW. People can choose what they whant to play simple as that . They whant the usual WoW then play the usual WoW they whant the unreal engine WoW then let them play the unreal version. What would make it even better is if all there progress on the actuall WoW can be copied over to the unreal engine version too so peeps can swap back and forth depending on there mood and won't have to farm for there achives all over again. Or they can leave that as a choice for when they first log into the unreal version of it.

@@dimitrhsrap65 The classic servers were made for nostalgics and were in high demand. The game would resemble Skyrim if it were done in Unreal Engine. The charm of WoW is its graphics which are currently more than fine. Making another server with U.E is pointless, waste of money and energy. Blizzard has enough things to worry about than making something that would probably be a failure anyways. I am more reluctant to believe that they would make World Of Diablo or Starcraft than this
