@@n288yfhf i don't think of kpop as being "your culture" anymore than country music is ours. the thing with young people is they have a very myopic view of the world. they love the music and the things surrounding it and that's what the love. i can dig that. what i think people are misunderstanding is the kpopaholic isn't trying to disrespect the people their interest is only with the glitz and glamour of the genre. just like when kids wanna be actors...they have no idea about the culture surrounding the everyday people of that area. trust me...i lived thru the "urban cowboy" craze. it could be frustrating seeing people "be country" on the weekends while the rest of us it was a way of life. but, i never got mad over it. in fact, i was happy people stopped calling me a "hayseed shit kicker" because i loved country music. my family and the midwestern/Texas culture was country. it isn't a conservative or a liberal thing...it's a youth thing. those of us who are much older and enjoy kpop music and the idols know the terrible shit they go through. we know that it is suppose to put a good face on the country. it isn't a facade but, in my opinion, a symptom of something that only those who live there can understand. sadly, it will be a small group of youth who realize this. koreaboos tend to live a pollyanna life. they do it here, too. i get you're angry. just have patience. try to educate them. peace out, hun.

I saw a video earlier where a girl falsely accused a guy for sexually harassing her in public, everyone jumped in and helped the guy and were even ready to be witnesses for the guy but now here when a guy is literally dragging a girl most of these people are ignoring them. Misogyny enough. And very proud of the ones who jumped in to help her, the bare minimum but we appreciate that.
@brennathecatlover43603 жыл бұрын
I always see the opposite in these types of sa vids. People always help the girl but never the guy. What would you do highlights that cuz they had a girl pretended to be harassed and everyone helped her. But when the genders were flipped no one did anything. Also your comment might have to do with a verbal vs physical conflict. Cuz u don’t know if the guy has a weapon that can harm more people verses just someone saying something

@Jk the videos that I am talking about are filmed in SK 💀 you are not providing proof for me how misandrist South Korean women are while all the statistics that I have read say different. The misogynistic criminal acts in South Korea are way higher and misandry acts are almost invisible in the charts💀. I have read and studied about all this so even equalling men and women's struggles are completely out of this world cuz they can never be the same. When men are murdered or raped, the abusers of men are also men in most of the cases. Misogyny in Korea exists and it is huge there. Women in South Korea keep men's shoes infront of their doors so that the stalkers will get the idea that men are present in this house and leave them alone. They carry pens and stuff with them when they go outside everytime and let their friends know about each other after every hour while they are out. South Korea is not a safe place for women as it is always said, the criminal acts against women are low bcz their complaints dont get filed. This is not what only South Korean women complain but also the foreign women who visit Korea have the same complains and even worse cz most of the Korean Men see foreign women as sex dolls. Imagine your country is so much about misogyny and it is negatively effecting women's safety daily but Korean men found the correct way to make things better is by crying about an emoji that Korean feminists used to make fun of misogynist men imao y'all way too over dramatic💀 embarrassingat at this point. No you cannot brainwash me by bringing radical feminists of Korea cz I have studied about them too. Rad in radical feminism means "root" the Korean radical feminists are about getting rid of misogyny and patriarchy from the root but most of the Korean men have brainwashed the international audience that Korean radical feminists are some monsters who go around and grab men's balls or punch them in the face in return of their trauma and shit. So no sir 😐 you picked the wrong person to manipulate this time 😐

Sure, Korean men don't assault women in public like other third world countries but they def have the upper hand in society, much more power than any man back home too because of the laws we have now. "Stop pretending" "Didn't you come to seduce a man today?" "A good girl would not wear such a short skirt" "Isn't that you wearing like this want men to look at you?" If someone esp a man said these things right in front of my face, i can't promise not to hurt someone.

Victimizing women😂
@srijaallu_3 жыл бұрын
@@jaquewow5986 victimizing women? How is it victimization when the woman IS the victim in this situation. If this was real and no one stepped in, gruesome things could have happened. So open your eyes a bit ok? Please look at today’s society and stop saying that these videos victimize woman, these types of videos show the truth of what’s happening in today’s world. So get your facts checked or don’t comment such a thing.

I really love how korean people help others though they know them or not💜this is why mostly everybody today loves korea
@Yoga_Friend3 жыл бұрын
In my view if you look properly those who helped were initiated first by their gfs/wives . Only womens were looking concerned except that white-t shirt guy . Other people just passed by like nothing . Nothing against Korea but this type of situation will get similar reactions in most of the places .

@@Yoga_Friend well i didn't deny that other countries won't trend to help others. It is a korean video and what i love about korea i just wrote it. Its not like that i think other countries won't help others and rather than this its a good thing if we found more and more people helping others 😊

@@juno1765 I know that. I know it's easier said than done and we ought to be careful too. But If I were there, I would have stayed close, listen and then if I had to act, I would. Or if I had to call the police or something, I would do that but I would never just leave if something like this was happening infront of me.. And I don't expect everyone to do the same, but just imagining myself in her shoes and not getting any help, that would be terrifying. That's why I would help her or him or anyone, in such a situation in any way possible..
