@@michelewilla From what I have been reading on the wiki, they're not making it into an anime, but rather a K-drama. But they're still trying to figure out whether or not to make it more Western in appearance (i.e., using Western actors to keep it more in line with the design of the webcomic) or to make it appear more Eastern (i.e., using Korean actors). Personally, I would prefer animation, but live-action would be okay, too. As long as they do the webnovel and webcomic justice. Then again, there have been manga/manhua/manhwa that have had both animated and live-action adaptations, so for all we know, we may get both.

That would suck a## because in those type of situations unless the main heroine becomes a Saintess or some other high political figure within the Kingdom you would have to deal with the fallout of the idiot princes political suicide. I have a much better idea for a story. First the story takes place after after the standard Otome game setting where one the MCs who is reincarnated has the daughter of the Prince/Commoner who was hoping for her own romance story (she doesn't go for the Harem route because she hates those) but instead gets a political drama where every section she has to stop an incident to prevent the flames of civil war from erupting. During her time at the academy the only person she could call a true friend (since every one of her other friendship has strings attached to the factions that want the civil war to happen) a wheelchair bound/sickly boy who helps her navigate the dangerous intrigues of the Academy along with discovering why the Kingdom is on the brink of civil war. Surprise, suprise the Kingdoms current predicament started when her parents married and after the "villainess" execution.

So for those that dont understand courtly behavior. She screwed him on another lv publicly by wearing red and black. In a wedding or devorce scenario. A woman wearing red means she screwed the groom, and black is for a widow signifies the ultimateend of a relationship. I screamed when they colored Aileen's gown red like, why!? She was supposed to be in a white dress with black lace and gold accents because Claude wanted her to stand out! (Black and white colored dresses are both considered inappropriate for parties for obvious reasons, but she combined the two and started a new trend) It pretty much ruined the moment for me because all the guests were either appalled or jealous or both, but a red (or any other colored) dress is just so damn common in parties like these that it just took away the wow factor 😭 I didn't drop the anime because I had such high hopes for it, but it didn't manage to live up to how good the novel was... Aileen was so much more of a schemer and girlboss in the novel... the anime was too rushed... 😭 Thankfully, they didn't give Pride a similar treatment and actually made a good anime.

Weeks before the party she was already weaponizing the court ladies' relationships to spread the word for her new brand of cosmetics around and this was supposed to be the kicker, because nothing gets a court lady gossiping more than drama. 2. She wanted all the publicity, whether it be good or bad, so that her name would become more well known than it already was, because this was revenge after all, and she wanted the spotlight on her and not the prince and his side chick. This also helps as a damper for her previous label as the girl that was dumped by the prince. 3. She was asserting her dominance. Aileen has always been a trend setter among noble ladies (she is crowned princess after all) and it's a status she needed to uphold, especially after what that b Lilia did, so she wore the most controversial dress to rouse everyones intrigue. This inevitably caused people to doubt Lilia's capabilities because she has only ever followed trends and was never at the helm of development. 4. Wearing a white dress to break your engagement is literally the pinnacle of "I couldn't care less" not to mention the sight of her and Claude in black and white made them look like newlyweds, so instead of celebrating the dumba- Cedric and Lilia's engagement, it looked more like everyone was there to celebrate Aileen and Claude's wedding. 5. Like I said, earlier as well, white is and black are extremely controversial colors for parties like these, so no one would be wearing anything remotely close to what Aileen is wearing, so she looks even more gorgeous, but red (and not even a stunning red at that) is one of the most common colors for balls like these, and makes her look like every other lady in attendance.

It was easy to see why our resident transmigrated MC was able to care about her future husband and his people. In the game she’s a horrible person and is rejected by the blonde hair guy at the start of the game, however knowing this she rejects him thus humiliating him. This scene is much later in the anime where they meet again and he refuses that she’s leaving him for the demon lord. I left out a lot of other things but this anime completely finishes everything in 1 season and while it may seemed rushed it honestly works perfectly and is worth a watch.
