Short, long story many moons ago, on our honeymoon while in Acapulco we'd made some friends of another American couple who were also on their honeymoon. On our last day there the phone rang in our room and it was the other American guy, he was having complete meltdown because he/they had eaten and drank many things from the mini bar on consecutive days and being as young as we all were did not have enough money to pay for it. It was like $500 worth of stuff for the week. They thought it was all included. I was able to help him with his bill (and yes he did mail me a check after getting back to their home). I learned this the hard way, but now my advice to people going to Vegas is spend $100 getting what you may or may not need at CVS/Walgreens while you're sober. Sunscreen, gatorade, snacks, booze, mixers....get it all. Worst comes to absolute worst you don't use it and can give it (preferably unopened) to one of the many homeless on the strip. I'm sure they would absolutely appreciate a bottle of gatorade and bag of chips. Better to spend $4 on something you don't need than $18 at 3 am when you find you DO need it.
