I agree. Particularly younger grades. My grandson had the opportunity to learn sign language in high school as an option instead of Spanish, French etc. . He was told by many that wasn’t really a language but as I told him , that will serve him so well to know sign language throughout his life. I’m proud of his choice.

Yes! Our child is still working on expressive language, and simple signs like the ones in these video have been CRUCIAL in him being able to communicate his needs! It is such a part of our day to day now.

New Zealand Sign Language is one of the three official languages in New Zealand where I live, along with English and Te Reo Maori. It is one of the first countries in the world to introduce it into the school curriculum. 🙃🌿❤

I love the desk. I don't like using the cables....( to me it looks like the inside of these new prisons they've built in the last decade etc. but that's just my opinion....no hate please!) Love the new room! You guys are doing so much and it's amazing. Cassidy is so cute saying "Mama".....you know, it's a wive's tale when the baby says "Mama" first, the next baby will be a boy, and if they say Da da first a girl....(LOL! this is why it's an Old Wive's Tale....probably means nothing but I always thought it was cute....and it actually happened that way for us. Our 1st born son said "Da-Da" first and his sister came 2.10 yrs later. Our daughter said "Mama" first, and our 3rd child was a boy and our 4th was a boy too because son no#2 said "Dada" first. So we had 3 boys and a girl!

Brought a tear to my eye seeing Alex snuggling the older girls like that. I dont think a lot of parents realize how nice that is. My mom was a no toucher basically since we were born, and it always makes me wonder what that would be like. Im an adult now but I still see other adults like being hugged by their moms, and crying and being comforted by their moms and all our relationship is, is awkward. Your girls are going to be so thankful to have such a sweet bond with their mom.

I’m so shocked every time I see that you have comments. It is good to see that all is well and healthy. Strawberries are a spreading plant that have a lot of care to them. Best thing to do is plant a row or rows that you can manage. Cut runners off the first year plants to encourage roots to grow deeper. Plant returns in spring with large berries. Remember to fertilize in the spring as they are coming up. Keep straw around each plant thick enough to pull any weeds that might find there way into your bed. A raised bed is nice so that when you mow you don’t spread as much weed seeds into the strawberry bed. Good luck with the growing of the berries.

I know you wanted a walkway with your strawberries, but if you take old guttering, and make stands to put it on, spaced about 4 feet apart. At least 3 foot off the ground 1. It keeps them off the ground which helps with keeping them cleaner, and helps prevent fungus growth 2. They are much easier to pick and they grow bigger. 3. It also helps keep the critters and bugs out of them. Look on Pinterest and look up strawberry gutter growing. It also gives them more sun. The house, DECK, garden, everything is so beautiful!!! So very happy that things are coming together the way you all want them to. But my biggest joy to watch is those 3 beautiful babies and how you two parent them…..

My deck wood was put together with Large Nails, however it has been 10 years that was done when new, now 10 years later the Nails have become loose and wood falling apart. I live in Nebraska so the weather gets hot and it gets cold .Landlord redone the whole deck and used large screws and now is secure and tight to hold lots of weight. Glad to have a handyman of a Landlord

It's so good to see you all back to health and raring to go! Hi lovely family... Cassidy so funny always always hungry!! Sooooo beautiful ... and so clear in her speaking now ..... My tomatoes are doing better now but the weather in UK has been very unkind to my little yard and its lovely flowers and plants. I have tried to use all my washing up water etc to save having to use the hose but I feel so sorry for the plants ! So happy that you are all feeling so much better it was a rough time for you all. Thanks for being there as I told you before I was shielding for 14 months and your channel was one of the things that kept me sane ! xx Thank the lord we seem to be on top of the nasty Covid now. As a sign language interpreter, this makes me extremely happy that you have taught Cassidy to use sign language. However, make sure everyone in the family is learning it as well. Sign language benefits everyone, and also if you're in noisy situations, or far away but still in a sight line, it saves your voice from having to scream. Love seeing the progress on your home, as well as Cassidy's. Just a suggestion maybe try and find the deaf community in your area so you can all practice sign language. It's a great way to improve your skill as well as to meet some amazing people. Learning from the Deaf community is the best, you can also look into ASL classes (preferably with a Deaf teacher) that could help you build your skills. As a side note if you aren't a morning person, sign language is helpful so you don't have to use your voice first thing in the morning but still can communicate.

Pour the milk at the base of tomato plants. This will put calcium in the soil.

Have your contractor make a matching panel to go across the stairs as a gate. I think you will eventually find that you have a use for it. My husband has always insisted on a gate to the deck stairs and I use the current one all the time. I keep dogs up or lock them in the yard and also use it to keep my tortoise on the deck on cold nights.

I grow my strawberries in big plant pots and hanging baskets they grow lovely with lots of strawberries, and slugs don’t get at them so much try it you’ll be surprised at how they grow and in hanging baskets they’ll trail , so glad your all feeling better 💕💕
