Well, Reese Witherspoon isn't going to reach out personally, at least not at first. And her production company might if they've found the novel, but they'd be sending you release forms and everything. One way to recognize legitimate people is they act legitimate and they aren't afraid of legalese. They'll send releases and contracts and let you talk to their lawyers and the whole thing. People who are sketchy are all, "Naw, we can just do this ourselves." If the latter? Run.

Jacob, how and what should I include in a 1 PAGE horror script, please give me a quick checklist. And Thanks in advance.

The checklist here would be the same as any 1 page script... you have to have a story to start. A protagonist with a clear goal, and they get it or they don't. And since it's a horror script, probably something scary or terrorizing for the audience. Outside of that, there's not much else you'll be able to fit on a single page. Good luck with that!
