Quick question Valeria. As an international student who is in UK for masters, if an employer says minimum of 2:1, is submitting a 2:1 MSc grade in UK enough or an applicant needs to have a 2:1 in his/her undergraduate, noting the undergraduate wasn’t completed in UK?

I think Master's is enough, but it really depends on the firm! You need to read the requirements for a particular job, some event check your high school grades, while others don't even care what you got in university...

@@iwheelzandtech please check conditions of you offer in your offer letter / contract, perhaps also their they will state who pays these fees. In big multinational companies, usually the employer pays, but in medium to small size it varies from firm to firm

you can do either course depending on your career goals, that is your personal decision. Yes, if the company does not require any particular course for background, you can apply for any jobs you want, you just need to meet the requirements in order to have a good chance

it could be good to do a placement year, but keep in mind it will be your responsibility to find your placement opportunity, it could be quite hard, you might as well put this energy into finding a permanent graduate job... in any case, you can usually switch to a programme without a placement if you don't find a placement.
