what about Lithium wheelchair batteries? Do they have restrictions?

There can be some restrictions depending on the airline you are flying on. In most cases the wheelchair will be stowed under the plane but the airline however, may need to remove the battery and package it separately if the wheelchair cannot be stowed upright in the cargo area. As far as security restrictions, there are none for battery powered wheelchairs.

I plan to bring an uninstalled laptop battery (52 Wh) as a spare battery for my laptop (not a power bank). From your explanation, can I theoretically bring that uninstalled spare laptop battery on a carry on bag? (And I make sure the battery is well protected in a package)

Yes, correct. You can pack it your carry-on.

Great video! I understand all airlines allow 100 wh batteries but how do I ask for the airline's approval if I want to carry a battery 101-160 wh?

The tsa rule is 2 spare 101-160 watt hours. Once it's through security the airline won't be checking on it.

How about an USB charged lighter ( for LPG stoves) if its in the packet not opened?

Yes, you will be allowed to take a USB charger on the plane with you. Just know that you may be asked to remove it from the packet for inspection so make sure you have it in an easy to get to place.

You are allowed only 2 spare batteries in carry on. Each up to 160 watt hours each.

I want to take drills, sawzaw, batteries, wrenches, hard hat, and going in a hard milwakee case with wheels, 90 wh or less will be attached to powertools. does this sound ok ? Doing work on a Caribbean island

Those are all good to take. You will just have to use the Milwaukee case as checked luggage as you won't be able to take it on the plane with you.

How are power banks any different from laptop batteries... Open them up and its 18650 cells most the time... So its dumb they allow one in checked bags but not the other

You are limited to two power banks in your carry-on with a limit of 27k MAH for each one.

So my battery says 33800mah (125.06wh) on the second line but it says 18v and further down it also says 5v. I’m confused, plz help. Can I fly with these?

The battery would exceed the limit but you are able to carry 2 batteries at a higher limit with airline approval. So you will need to check with the specific airline you will be flying on to see if they will allow you to carry the higher limit battery that you have.

I am thinking to carry 62WH extra laptop battery on international flight to EU. Would it cause any problem?

No problem to take a 62 wh laptop battery to the EU. Just make sure you pack it in your carry-on or personal item bag as it won't be allowed in checked luggage.
