From personal experience I don't think HA is a good stand alone product for serums (I think it even dried me out a little). But combining with face lotion it's golden. Instant results from the inside out, fuller, younger looking skin, just wow! (I use it every evening before bed.)

Thank u Dr K! This was so informative! Did not realize adding HA is temporary. I have non-sensitive skin and focus on the most potent version of actives. I have been using L-Ascorbic and Tret. Which active(s) do u find is most potent/effective for hyperpigmentation (besides HQ, which i dont want to use cuz of chance of rebound hyperpigmentation)?
@dramirkaram3 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! I would definitely recommend you try the Trifecta for your hyperpigmentation. The easy 3 step program will address those issues in addition to many others. Quench in particular is designed to decrease skin discoloration and hyperpigmentation by decreasing melanocytes activity.Products like the Trifecta containing retinal, vitamin C and Niacinamide can be highly effective to address hyperpigmentation. I suggest you introduce new products gradually and consider consulting with a dermatologist to develop a personalized treatment plan.

So, with the information you've provided as to the products we should be using on our own, can you please do a video that tells the exact order all individual products should be applied to the face and neck? For example, in a skincare routine, what should go on first, second, third, etc. if we use hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, retinol, peptides, moisturizer, sunscreen? Also, what is the application for a morning routine versus an evening routine if we are doing our skincare routine two times a day?

Dr karam..what are growth factors you always mention them in your vdos?
@dramirkaram3 ай бұрын
Growth factors are powerful proteins that support the skin's natural repair and regeneration processes.In skincare, growth factors are used for their anti-aging properties. They can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, and enhance overall skin tone by promoting the production of collagen and elastin, which diminish as we age.

T hank you for your tutorials. My opthomologist treated me for red eyes with various drops but no progress. He recommended to try using skincare that does not have hauloronate acids as many of his patients have tried also not using. Wouldn’t you know it my skin calmed down and no red eyes after a few weeks. Please explain why this has happened. I cannot find good quality products for my skin. Please help.
@dramirkaram3 ай бұрын
Hyaluronic acid (HA) itself is generally well-tolerated and unlikely to cause redness or irritation around the eyes. However, if the HA product you're using contains other ingredients such as preservatives, fragrances, or alcohol, these could potentially cause irritation, especially on sensitive skin. Overuse of HA in the eye area could also lead to irritation if the skin becomes too dry or if the product draws too much moisture from the skin in dry environments.If you're experiencing redness or discomfort, it could also be a sensitivity or allergic reaction to another ingredient in the product or the specific formulation of the HA serum.

@dramirkaram3 ай бұрын
Hi Veena, to address pigmentation and skin damage after a C10 laser treatment, focus on soothing and healing the skin to reduce inflammation and fade hyperpigmentation. The Enrich Breathable Barrier Balm is a great option. Once healed, use gentle products like the Trifecta with vitamin C/ azelaic acid to brighten and reduce discoloration. Also be sure to protect your skin from further damage with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+), and keep it hydrated with a gentle moisturizer. Avoid harsh exfoliants and direct sun exposure to prevent worsening pigmentation. If this issue persists, consult a dermatologist. karammdskin.com/products/karammd-trifecta

@dramirkaram3 ай бұрын
Hi, Denise! Thank you for watching and for that feedback. Being on all of the right, high quality anti-aging ingredients can be expensive. An effective system is complicated and requires a lot of components. However, the Trifecta bundles all of those components which actually makes it 2-4 times less expensive than if you were to get all of these active ingredients separately. If it's more in your budget, you might want to consider just keeping a subscription for the Illuminate. This is a great stand alone product if you're not able to go for the whole set.

Thank you for your explanation. I don’t get it. No matter how I tried to use it, it drys my skin like hell. Looks awful and flaky. No matter how much cream I put on my face. I just threw it away.
@dramirkaram3 ай бұрын
If your hyaluronic acid serum is drying out your skin, it could be due to a low-humidity environment, causing HA to pull moisture from deeper layers of your skin instead of from the air. It’s also important to apply HA to damp skin, as it works best when it can lock onto moisture already present. Additionally, following with a good occlusive moisturizer is crucial to seal in the hydration. Without these steps, HA may leave your skin feeling dry or tight, especially in very dry climates or if improperly formulated.
