I have both a EM model and the 124G. The meter in the EM is a CDS cell and is no longer accurate and the battery powered meter in the 124G is also inaccurate. The meters do react to light but are several stops off. Still they are wonderful cameras and images are fantastic. The EM has red leather and I keep it loaded with color film and the black 124G has B/W. I had trouble finding a good hood and close up and telephoto lenses for them so they have a very nice Rollei set I found on eBay.

Glad you are enjoying your Yashica's. I had a 124G many years ago. Thanks for watching.

My dad gave me some old wall hanger cameras. One of them is in really good condition and even came with a yellow instruction sheet. Never used these old cameras. It has Asian lettering on the front. The instructions say it’s a 04-0031 120 twin lens reflex camera. Any idea based on that info who makes its? It’s in the original protective case and still trying to figure out how to remove it from the case to find the makers mark. Thamks

Can you send me a photo? There should be a snap in the back, and it should open back to front from the top. You can email the photo to jlvphoto@yahoo.com

Also where do you buy film for these cameras and get them developed?

@@lopesphoto I buy my film from B&H in New York. They have a great website. B&H photo video. I develop my own black and white. There is a lab called the darkroom where you can send your film. They are in California.
