Every year, the US Department of State issues 55,000 diversity visas to individuals from around the world that participate in the annual US diversity visa lottery commonly known as the #greencard lottery. These visas enable foreign nationals to migrate legally to the USA as "Lawful Permanent Residents." But prior to immigrating to the United States, prospective migrants have to undergo vaccination and medical screening at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Medical Assessment Center in their respective countries, in line with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. In this video, I discuss the vaccinations that adult applicants and / or adult derivatives are required to take prior to their visa interview at their designated US embassy. This presentation is based on my own personal experience as a green card lottery winner. Please note that I am not a medical doctor or legal migration expert.
