What you need to paint a reborn using FolkArt air dry paints!

I've recently discovered that liquitex ultra matte gel on the kit before painting, and painting with matte paints and sealing with folk art Glass and tile medium makes the babies matte and still makes the paint very durable and permanent. I struggled for almost a year trying to figure it out.

Folk Art Glass & Tile Medium is good to finish your reborn with a matte finish and you don't need to bake it. It takes some practice though. I apply it to a cosmetic wedge and pounce in small sections at a time on my vinyl. I keep changing the wedge when it gets saturated because it no longer works after it does. Sharon x0x0

Your such a brave young person but I love your story. As a teenager I had to stay a month in the hospital after a failed attempt at suicide....thank God!! I began Journaling while in the hospital and wished I had your patience. Your inspiring me to try my hand at Reborning so I have a question....the folk art paints.....why do you use them over the Heat Genesis paint?

Great video... Great to see someone covering acrylic paints for reborning. When it comes to reborning with acrylics there is not much out there.. I have only found a small handful. Would love to know what kind of camera you are using. Loved how excited you were about your camera. :-)

When you paint the reborns with acrylic like this video explains, you don't have to bake the doll in the oven until you put the sealer on at the end.
