You can also take your excess waystones to the reforging bench. Use the bench to turn three waystones into one waystone of a higher tier. This is especially useful to get over the hump of being able to sustain higher tier waystones. Players will usually hit a wall for sustaining waystones at least once. Turn your lower tier waystones into higher tier waystones using the bench to help you get past those walls.

Path of Exile Looting Quick Reference Guide Use a Loot Filter: Essential for highlighting valuable items and hiding clutter-trust it! Always Pick Up Jewelry: Rings, amulets, and belts can have high-demand stats or be sold for profit. 1. Raw Currency Pick up all basic currencies (orbs, fragments, etc.). Carry scrolls of wisdom with you to ID and dump rares in the field as needed. 2. Runes & Soul Cores Pick up all runes until you have about 50 of each type. soul cores are always money. 3. Superior & Socketed Items Superior items (with quality) → Salvage for blacksmith’s, armorer’s, or artificers’ orbs. Socketed items → Salvage for Artificer Shards (10 = 1 Artificer’s Orb). 4. Waystones, Tablets, Trials, Logbooks Always pick these up: used for mapping or specialized content. Lower-tier Waystones can be sold for gold if unneeded. 5. Gear to Pick Up All Uniques → Disenchant for Chance Shards (10 = 1 Chance Orb). All Rares → Most get dismantled for Regal Shards (10 = 1 Regal Orb). (I differ from Lupi here in that I sell unwanted rares and then use the profits to gamble for amulets/rings, which can often be worth 1div or more) Blues/Whites → Only if they’re high “tier” (e.g., Tier 2, Tier 4) or a base you specifically need. Pick up white jewelry and belts as the bases can be sold in bulk like currency. Notables being Sapphire Rings, Emerald Rings, Stellar Amulets, and Heavy Belts. 6. Jewels Pick up all jewels; they can have valuable mods, and often sell for 1div+ 7. Flasks Keep picking up flasks until you’ve got a solid set. After that, only pick up Superior flasks for future use. 8. Charms Grab 2-3 of each type to experiment, then skip the rest. 9. Uncut Gems lvl 18 gems = 1ex. lvl 20 gems = 2 divine. lvl 8 spirit gems = 4-7 ex Sorting Tips In your stash, search “quality” to pull all Superior items first. Then search “sockets” for socketed items. Next “unique” for items to disenchant or price-check. Then “waystone” to gather all mapping items. Check Rares with filters like “life,” “spirit,” or “resistance.” Finally, organize jewelry and any leftover items. Happy looting!

@@jacquelinehladek1852 Item rarity doesn't automatically make an item valuable. a helm with 50% rarity is usually 1-5ex, rings and amulets with 40%+ rarity are valuable.

I'll never sell or buy anything on POE games until there's a built-in marketplace that is actually easy to use and convenient. Never have, never will and been playing since 2013. Only trade with friends for free. Even that is rare. It's absurd to me how clunky even the current menus are when working with items and currency or skill gems in POE2. Like if you're next to your stash, open it, then open inventory and skills menu, it closes stash, close skills, it doesn't open stash back up...just even give that as an option? Just such poor UX design all around the games.

I really love this game. But the only thing I hate about it is the lack of space in the bag. After 2-3 weapons, your bag is full. I don't know why they don't give us more slots so we can carry more weapons, armor, and gear. How did you change your map? My map is still on default. I see that your NPCs are in a different position.?

Make sure you’re not purely focused on damage, use energy shields and grim feast for example and appropriate nodes plus focus on resists otherwise you will die often. This isn’t d4 need to tweak your gear and build

I do wish GGG had done any QOL changes in terms of items, sorting, inventory...but no, it's MORE item types instead. The GUI is just so bad. Like just make the item BORDER a different color to show quality? or a little marker in the corner. Literally anything to help.

why would u stop picking items that tale only one square, even all those identify scrolls can be sold for gold at one point, plus runes are valuable for selling, i sold 8 of them for 2 exalted orbs recently, you never know.

At high tiers it’s not worth the time to loot everything. Also in party’s you usually don’t have extra ports in maps to come out, sell/depot and go back in.

In high Tier Maps it is really inefficient and slow to pick up all those low value trash items like runes. I get up to 15 ex per map so 8:2 is not really valuable
