If they model the Australian F 18 realistically then it gonna be a bus, the flyby wire on that thing is a pain, I have flown it and the F 35 in real life, it might not be one in war thunder but in real life the fly by wire restricted it to 6.5gs.

@gustavofelix3433 we still don't know excalty but a couple of reasons included how we didn't take off carriers and us usually not using the entire runway because we would pull on the stick more than we needed. This led to the longevity being shortened. Our country's defence budget is big on paper but corruption has led to only about 1/3 of the budget actually going into it - meaning we didn't have enough funds to constantly repair/maintain them like our American counterparts. But there is still 2 buttons which allow it to either go back to the American fly by wire or no fly by wire

With F/A-18C being the most hyped and well awaited jet of this year aside from the F-15C. If I had to take a hard and fair guess. I'd say the F/A-18C will be released in the last update of the year. Yes, MatAWG says it could be released in the next update, and that could be true. However, with the jet being so hyped up by the community. I'd imagine that Gaijin will want to capitalize off that by giving the jet the spot in the last update. Much like how the F-16A and ADF stole the show in the Apex Predator update. Gaijin could use this aircraft to get players to hop back on after not play the game for awhile to boost player counts and to increase profits by making variants of the F-18 a base jet in the tech tree with a couple premiums here and there. That's my guess

I don’t think the F-18 will be added in December. December is usually a large game changer. I think the F-18 will come in October for the US, Germany, and maybe UK. I could see more variants coming to other nations in December though. December patch I think will introduce some newer missiles and maybe some different weapon systems like more anti ship and Anti radiation missiles. I think it’s too early to add 4.5 gen jets so I predict those coming in the summer patch next year.

@@martinwellhoefer9159 no , it has to come this December, at this point the only thing in which the EF will be better is engine power, same armament 10 missiles 8 aim120a and 2 aim9m/ aim9l(i), the radar is like the f18 (In technology and specifications) There is no excuse
