Yessir . Man , I had ripped my v5 k6s build today with a 14t and man it felt good driving with the tighter exb steering . What a difference for real . The max 6 really isn’t that much of a difference in case anyone was wondering . It’s heavier , tourqier and keeps a6s 1650kv motor cooler . I haven’t tried it with a spectrum 2050kv but the stock was getting hot a f . It was an orange fan covered esc so I threw it in 4s outcast 4s battery and that issue is gone . The newer gray fan covered spectrum esc s seem to run the motor a little cooler . I really can’t tell since it’s cold outside though .

I feel like you gotta either gear up the max6 g2 combo or use 8s like do to wake it up. The weight difference is noticeable

Yes you can put all way up 20 no problems atleast put 17 18 t

The shutdown might be the battery . My ovonics and zees all shut down . The one 6s hoovo has never shut down and the graphene yowoo have never shut down . That’s what the arrma forum dudes said . Then I started to notice what batteries would shut down during a full throttle . Could be anything though

@@Hungrybird474 on the battery subject, I've had my share of frustrations with eighth scale Arrma on 3S. Long story short and based on some of what I've read, it's best to go for substantial amps, at least 6000 mA, but go easy on the C ratings. I read and translates to my personal experience that when we have, say a 5600 mA hour battery with 120 C rating, that battery will cause voltage drops sooner than similar with 70 or 80C, even. i'm no electrical engineer and don't know as much as even proficient RC people know, but this seems to translate to better experiences.

Lower the LVC a couple levels, might help out on the cut off. Stock is set at 4 out of 6, i drop mine to level 2 and it doesn't cut off unless the batteries empty. Im also running the speed pinoin with the punch level on max with the Jconcepts Magmas wheels. Instant backflips.

The Big Rock 6S, which is very similar to the V6 Kraton does 54-65mph going from the 14T to 16T, i have no idea if increasing the gearing will increase top speed (as long as the ESC allows it) somewhat proportionally, would a 18-19T gear worked better with similar top speed? maxing out without power cuts, V6´s are doing +65MPH runs on the 16T like its no big deal. Whats your take power wise, EXB/Big Rock 6S vs Kraton V6?? All have the same electronics and gearing (when using 16T) but the Kraton came out with a new firmware. I have seen people doing standing backflips with it and im not sure the EXB was able to.
