My childhood crush that I remember, was a movie based on a Swedish fairytale called “Mio min Mio”. I fell in love with JumJum. I saw the movie and read the book several times. Maaaany years later I saw it again and thought to myself that JumJum bore a striking resemblance to Christian Bale. It was actually him! And it was dubbed to Swedish! I've come to the conclusion that the secret to animal characters' charm in cartoons is in the eyebrows. Examples: Balto, Spirit, Simba, Kenai. I wouldn't say they were childhood crushes, but, in some way, I still think they're some of the most attractive cartoon characters ever. For the "human" category, I'd say General Li Shang, Denahi and Ashitaka. I'll also add in Lilo's big sister, Nani, Mulan, Princess Mononoke and Moana. Those were defenetely not childhood crushes, but they win the hottie prize for me.
