My grandfather was part of the design team at de Havillands in Hatfield and worked on the Comet. I was part of the team that wrote the code for Boeing 777's FCC (fly-by-wire) as well as the code for various HUDs, HDDs and MFDs. I've been flight simming since 1982 and currently using DCS, IL-2, MSFS and X-Plane 11/12. Ironically, I actually prefer to fly GA with "steam gauges" rather than glass cockpits of the likes of Garmins. I do have the PMDG 777 in MSFS but I really wish someone (Just Flight maybe) would do a study-level DH106 Comet for either/both MSFS and X-Plane so I would be able to fly both my favourite tunbeliners.
