I hope Ed might soon get a chance to try that upcoming Transit Connect PHEV. The Ford is a 1.0l 3-cyl series only hybrid with 13.8kWh. It's exciting to see, a hybrid van! but it creates doubts for the engine at amp-sucking high speeds.

That sounds great it was greatly needed sadly it’s probably gonna sell really bad because hybrids are really expensive and Americans think everything smaller than a 3 liter engine is an engine for a scooter

Edd, if you don't like the "lane assist", wait until the "side wind assist" takes control, pretty scary on a packed motorway on a gusty day, natural reaction is to correct it but you could end up making it worse! Other than that feature, brilliant van!

They must have done a lot of design changers! Our work place bought two & had nothing but trouble with them, mainly brakes! They were diesels with 5 speed autos & had more trouble with one unable to go up a hill! Needless to say they both got changed to Mitsubishi within two years because of maintenance problems!

Very informative Perhaps in future videos, instead of a spec range, you could include specs for each model. So for length or roof height, list each one and maybe add GVWR.

Interesting vehicles. (I don't know much about Mercedes , don't know what they are really like but it looks good , seems quality / well made). I have a van , and a pickup , in Japan and one of the BEST EVER features I have seen on vans I have only ever seen on Japanese vans. (I have this on a Mazda and my daughter has a company van (Nissan) with it). This "feature" is slightly smaller than usual twin rear wheels ad a "fully-floating" rear axle. The vans have regular size front wheels. This means there are NO WHEEL ARCHES IN THE BACK OF THE VAN . It has a completely flat floor. It is a brilliant feature , especially useful for some uses and trades where you carry long or large flat items. (As I do) . I am surprised other manufacturers, especially people like Mercedes , don't adopt this , it is one of the BEST and most useful design features I've seen in commercial vehicles. I have rarely seen it other than on domestic Japanese vans though . Shame . It would be very popular with van users.

Would be nice to have an electric version of the Sprinter. Considering Amazon has 20,000 of these vans and FedEx own a bunch; it seems like they would insist on the reliability to be world class. Anyone who owns a Sprinter RV says never again.
