My trekker sprinter is 8750 kg of total weight with the v6 , it's pretty strong,. It's good to hear good things about them because it's usually horror stories especially regarding the v6

Thank you again for an informative and in depth review, top notch commentary and camera work, showcasing not only the van but beautiful English villages and countryside. These vans have come a long long way since the 1960's Morris J4 or Bedford van l once drove.! I have a T1N...fitted as a motorhome...virtually zero spent on workshop expenses, apart from regular oil changes...I would buy another...there's nothing on the market that compares.

I have 4 of theses exact vans 316 versions and.2 have surpassed 800,000ks with totally no time in the workshop. looking forward to free MB dash cluster upgrade when the first van hits 1 million. . . Only Mercedes Benz eh!

Kris, our vans work in the remote Australian outback and there’s no service center on every street corner.After trying a few leading brands we settled for the 316 MWB sprinter due to the low fuel consumption, incredible reliability and driving comfort. A Crafter we had was almost as good on fuel but a mechanical nightmare. Considerable rust is evident in the frame above the side sliding door but this maybe due to the 240 v aircon, solar panels and signs all mounted through the roof,(haven’t investigated yet) apart from that the bodies hold up very well considering the harsh environment and thousands of Ks our vans do on unsealed roads

@@Dagreenberg68 I'm 192cm and that comes out to 6' 29" and a T4 transporter is more comfortable than this version of the Sprinter. Who in the hell came up with all those curves on the door profile? It's as if they wanted to keep the driver awake by keeping him uncomfortable.
