@@karenk5409 nope we can't do without any one of them and neither, I think, can they, they are such a family now. I have 6 sisters so I know how they must feel, all 7 are unique and irreplaceable. When you have a group like this everyone ends up taking on different roles according to their personalities, abilities and the result is so much stronger for all 7, than by themselves alone.I love how they don't compete in unhealthy ways against each other, or get jealous of each one's talents, they really encourage and stan each other.

Jimin was the one that got me hooked on BTS the very first time I heard them. I love all 7 but Jimin has something in his voice that just has the ability to draw you in and evoke all sorts of emotions. They have the best ability to put jimin in places of the song that they know he will evoke those emotions like when he sings his part in crystal snow it gets me all the time. Many have said well he gets those parts because he is lead singer so the parts are his automatically , but I say to that when you say that it takes away from his amazing abilities he has. Im so glad he has for the most part put the doubts he has when it came to his voice in the past and he worked hard on his abilities and to me he has one of the best voices out there and not just in kpop. Jimin is a special person inside and out but I think what helps his talents along his his true love for army and how much he wants to give back to them.

Jimin has the most heavenly and mesmerising voice I've ever heard. Not only is his vocal tone so unique, you can filter it out from a crowd of singers, it also carries the emotions of the song in an indescribable way. He conveys the feelings and the message behind the songs with both his voice and his body, no other voice is capable of making me feel as much as his does. He's a one of a kind performer and singer and I'm constanty in awe od him. To me his adlibs, high notes and his parts are often the cherry on top of the boys' songs. His vocal range is limitless as well, he can pull off any register and note and sound flawless.

3:58 “Wishing On a Star” is one of three original songs from their Japanese album Youth in 2016. What I mean is, usually their Japanese albums are full of their Korean songs but sung/rapped in Japanese, but they usually have a few songs per album that are exclusive to the the Japanese albums and they’re usually good. My fave is “Let Go” and “Crystal Snow” from the Face Yourself (2018) album including the OST “Don’t Leave Me” for a Japanese series. “Lights” is also really good (2019). Wishing On A Star is so groovy and smooth. That performance is from 2019 in Japan for the Muster. They only perform their Japanese songs when they’re in Japan, but I wish they would do it in their regular Muster because I love a few of these songs.

@@WonderingWildWanderingRose It would be hard to anyway because the Muster in Japan was only for Japan, so they did not even provide streaming globally - just those living in that country. We can only watch fancams which there aren’t very many because Japan has super strict rules on videoing, so it’s risky for fans to sneak a recording. I think the only way to see it in full is to buy the Japan muster on DVD. Somehow some YT channels were able to upload a few performances from DVD or maybe recorded from streaming. Sometimes video gets taken down eventually for copyright.

@@WhatchaGot2Say I think the ability to put feeling & conviction to lyrics, was something they all had innately, but the talent was deepened & perfected by all their years training together & learning from each other & everyone else around them (who taught them) to BE great performers. South Korea seems to truly value artistry, expression of feelings in all ways, through the movement of dance , language, the visual arts & we don't typically see as many famous, successful artists/performers here in the US who are so well taught and trained to access their feelings and be able to put it into their voices, so this is why we can feel their voices so much I think. We can all learn from them, to be more like they are , open and expressive with our feelings and that is, I think, beautiful.

Jimin's voice is so uniquely pitched. It's definitely higher than most guys his age. This makes it very hard for me to place him as tenor, alto, and soprano. I've been in a choir since 1st grade and I do know a few things. I'm not an expert, but I can give my best effort to try and explain why I can't place find the place of Jimin's voice range. The pitch of Jimin's voice is just so unique. Just placing him as a tenor would be an understatement because Jimin can get up there. The high notes that Jimin can hit clearly suggests that his range his higher than tenor. I don't think it's as high as the soprano range, but I know for sure that he's not a base. So now, we're left with tenor and alto. I think it's a safe bet to place his range between tenor and alto because while he does seem to sing in the tenor range, he can still hit high notes very well. Not many guys can do that. His high pitched voice and versatile vocals are definitely a charm point that I find undeniably adorable. Either way, these are my thoughts on this. Have a nice day/night. (Update) So, I just brought this up with my sister and we did some research. There is actually two placements bewteen the alto and tenor ranges. So there's: Soprano, Mesosoprano(aka second soprano), Alto, Contra-alto, Counter-tenor, Tenor, Baritone(I think baritone is the placement between tenor and base, but I'm not sure.), and Base. So, eliminating Base, Baritone, Tenor, and Soprano, we're left with Meso-soprano, Alto, Contra-alto, and Counter-tenor. Meso-soprano is a range between soprano and alto and they can sing higher than those in the alto range, but they can't sing as high as those in the soprano range(I've sang in both ranges before, but I'm pre-dominantly a soprano.). Alto is self explanatory, but to give a proper explanation for those who don't know. It's the range between soprano and tenor. Those in the alto range can't sing as high as the meso-soprano or soprano ranges, but they can sing higher than those in the tenor range. Now, contra-alto is a range where females have voices that are lower than normal, but this range can also have males as well. Finally, we have counter-tenor. This is the range were males have voices that are higher than normal. The best thing about those in this range is the fact that they can hit note all the way up to the meso-soprano range, if not higher. So, I was right to place Jimin in between tenor and alto because his voice range falls in the range of counter-tenor because: 1. His voice is pitched higher than most guys his age. 2. He can hit A5 and F5 notes very easily without needing to go into a falsetto. Jimin as a counter-tenor has a range that is much wider than we realize.

I had the honor of seeing our precious Jimin in Vegas up close. I saw right away the very reason why he collapses in exhaustion and ends up getting carried away by one of his brothers after a night’s performance. It doesn’t matter wether it’s sound check or the actual show. Our boy just gets consumed by the spirit of performing, like he’s in a trance. The moments that he does breakaway from that trance is when he interacts with the members or when he engages with the crowd even during those he’s constantly entertaining, moving or running along with the giant ripples of the purple ocean during the wave but then he’s back again in that trance. And yes he sounds exactly like that even during intense dancing it’s almost unearthly.

I became Army last year after watching Butter, Dynamite and Dope, went down that rabbit hole that same day, no hesitation. From the moment Jimin hit me with that “pow” finger gun in Dynamite, he had me. The other guys are amazing too but there’s something about Jimin that the other guys don’t have, especially when he’s dancing. I think part of it is his sensuality combined with his sexiness, his “come hither” look when he looks right at the camera, his smoldering “hip rolls.” And then you talk about him as a person, gorgeous, talented, hard working, kind and giving, and that beautiful voice, that when he sings, you know it’s Jimin and no one else. I’ve never fangirled any group, even when I was younger but BTS and especially Jimin, have me feeling so much younger than my 65 years and not afraid to say I’m ARMY 💜 ❣️💜❣️💜
