Literally everyday i see ballet dancers,figure dancers, olimpic gold medalists, main dancers of 4th gen to 1st gen all get inspired by him or praises his dancing. In my opinion, Jimin is one of the best dancers because he doesn't break character even if he isn't center or front row. This is so important in group dances because just because the camera isn't on you doesn't mean an audience member isn't watching you.

Jimin takes his time to complete each step before moving on to the next. Even in fast-paced dances, he never looks rushed. People love to point out that Jimin's dancing is "fluid" and that's because he never stops moving through each successive step or pose; he uses extension, to really stretch and connect each movement. He makes everything look effortless and it gives off the illusion that it's easier than it looks.

But that's the down side as well I always observe his dance and I know it's wayyyy harder than it looks But he makes it looks so easy or effortless to execute which is why people who doesn't have a background in dancing won't notice it or won't appreciate those difficult moves Though ironically, I'm a person who doesn't even know how to dance 😅

I wished u showed him Serendipity 2019 version because Jimin perfected it especially on the footwork. He makes serendipity look so easy but as a dancer even the smallest techniques regarding how he easily moved his legs during the chorus while the backup dancers couldn't replicate it speaks volumes. Hes honestly incredible and my favorite dancer due to his versatility

Its so easy to see that Jimin had classical training, even if you don't know dance. He's an overall great dancer and performer, but watching something like Black Swan (both the MV and their live), Butterfly and Serendipity you start too see those ballet like moves, all the way from his toes to his fingers where he expertly curls and extends with the music. In 2016 he did a group number with other idols in contemporary style and it was quite apparent that he was the one who knew the dance the best. Years later, BTS had each member do solos before their group number at an award show, and Jimins air dance with a piece of white fabric was so beautiful. I really wish we could see him do more classical dance because he is so captivating. I always felt like he is so similar to Taemin in terms og stage presence, but where Taemin us sharp and precise, Jimin is more elegant most of the time.

I wish he could kept on having contemporary courses... he has been losing skills, well he created his own style and he is excellent and even now 10 years of kpop training you still can feel his contemporary training on the way he stands, on his footwork, beautiful, I would love so much if he took time to dance just once with a big contemporary company , I would really love it, he would love it too... when he saw the black swan he said I never get any closer to this, oh JImin your talent is really big, but yes you stopped learning too early...

Jimin’s versatility is OUT OF THIS WORLD ! I can relate with Brian. You get to like Jimin without knowing he’s the JIMIN of BTS! When I saw him on Coming of Age Ceremony dance practice, I have no idea about BTS nor have any clue how big they were! I’m not into Kpop to start with so why would I waste my time on them? The upper body uprightness with the leg moving up is something that is very common in Martial arts you don't curl over you stand up and the kick or jump kick or even a round house kick otherwise you will catch your upper body. I can see in his dancing where he also used his Martial Arts Training. I have martial arts training did it for about the same amount of years that Jimin did it.

This right here is the most poetic way I've read of Jimin being explained. EXACTLY that. I say that a lot too. That Jimin creates his art in such a way that shows he trusts us as his audience to not just take everything at face value, but to catch all the nuances he weaves into his artful, genius presentations, and to be brave enough to go on the, sometimes, psychedelic journeys down into the depths of his imagination that he takes us on, and REALLY understand the vast and intricate picture he's painting for us. He's as great and successful as he already is, not just within BTS, but as an individual artist (even though he basically hasn't released any stand-alone solo work), and that is because he is a powerhouse full of incredible amounts of talent, energy and light, but is also able to show us his grace, poise, precision and sensuality, his determination, doggednes and resilient spirit, ALL contained in that elegant, petite package. The mastery he has over his entire being, is echoed in the mastery he has over ALL his audiences. He puts everyone who sees him, under his thrall and doesn't let go. So many fans have fights in the comments when some of them compare him to THE LEGENDS of POP MUSIC, ESPECIALLY MJ, (I personally think he also has some PRINCE, ELVIS & FRED ASTAIRE in there, toi), but in all honesty, as much as he IS still young and has a ways to go in his career, he IS already freakin' legendary. He gets compared to THE GREATS of yesteryear, because he's on of THE GREATS of OUR era. So knowing that he's idolised the Original KING OF POP, his whole life, yet instead of doing what others do, and just mimicking him well, Jimin has put EVERY style of dance he has EVER learnt, every martial arts discipline he's mastered, and also his entire personality and character, overlayed by his ethereal beauty, surprising vulnerability and potent charisma to CREATE HIS OWN STYLE OF DANCE, VOCALS AND PERFORMANCE. He's not the new Michael Jackson... He's THE PARK JIMIN. An original that can and WILL stand next to the historical greats of POP CULTURE, and never be found wanting. He makes me excited to be here to witness this emergence. This must be how music fans felt in eras before, when the artists WE now know as legends and Icons, were still breaking out. Witnessing their journey to ICONIC STATUS, as we do now with HIM . The WHOLE WORLD awaits his Solo album with baited breath, because he's already wowed us with what are essentially b-side tracks on the group's albums.
