I think we also have to remember when these were filmed. They may not have been as wealthy as they are now. Their money may have being managed. First clip - Run BTS - aired Sept. 7, 2021....I think they were used to it by then. 2nd clip, the mouthwash - In the SOOP, season 2 - filmed in late spring or summer of 2021 - aired from Oct. - Nov. of 2021. The few exceptions were mostly from episodes of Bon Voyage, and as they even said in the video, every season of that, they had a specific amount they got for the whole vacation, so they had to be careful...so those clips really don't belong in a video about them "forgetting they're millionaires" simply because they weren't allowed to use their own money.

I think it's just about them being humble and living in the moment. Usually I can afford a dollar meal at McDonald's too but I'm still always happy to accept free food. It's about knowing how much the world around you is worth, not how much you yourself are worth

Jin is the wealthiest of all the members. They owned a business and was located in Germany. I remember he gifted V expensive bracelet on his birthday and cash allowance on another birthday. BTS baby is V even though Jungkook is the youngest. BTS love V so much they baby him a lot. V is very sensitive and emotional I think that’s why they love and care V. I think V and Suga lives in Daegu which some kind of village compare to the rest of BTS member that lives in the city. That’s V and Suga knows how to value their hard earned money. Remember V he wants to marry a girl that knows how to budget money, he’s not after the beauty or anything else but knows how to take care financially. Which I am so proud of him.

Thanks for this reaction, guys! It was fun watching it with you. In their Bon Voyage series, they play games and the result determines what budget they have e.g., food or souvenir shopping. In the clip showing Jimin begging for food, they were the lowest scorers in the game and got only $50 or something for their dinner budget, that's why they could only afford tripe and Jin was asking for more generous servings. J-hope and RM got $150 (?) and could afford beef. Although, I read somewhere that they genuinely value gifts given by ARMY, there were some bowls given them in their early days that they were seen to still be using years later.

I think many people do not realize that BTS has only become uber rich as INDIVIDUALS, in the last couple of years. All of the success would have taken time to catch up to them as individuals financially in their framework as idols. I think it’s fantastic that they have had all of the years of a more normal level of income, as well as other opportunities to realize budget constraints, via Run BTS, and other activities. That will serve them so well in the years ahead. And just want to add, that I am thrilled that they are now fantastically wealthy. Cannot think of a group of individuals who deserve that more.

In some of those clips in the early days they didn't see much money. I think all of them were sharing a room in the beginning. When they started seeing a little cash in the bank accounts they probably did forget. It was a long time before they could spend comfortably but I think they spend wisely and they also give a lot to different causes. They definitely aren't greedy....I love that about them.

I kind of understand their reactions. Like as an Asians we love free stuff. For food presents I imagine they've been in diets or something for long periods of time and they are hard on themselves and actually stick to it instead of splurging like what may be norm in Western cultures when one comes across money, so when they get fancy food it's like Christmas, New Years, Daesang, and Chuseok all in one I imagine. Also most of them don't come from rich backgrounds and have struggled to be where they are and that kind of core memory doesn't quite leave. My parents were poor and they were always frugal even when we could afford things....its just how it is

I see stuff like this and I can only imagine that they must have a certain amount of financial management done for them that essentially "locks away" the bulk of their wealth for their futures and are left with a mostly "modest" allowance. I imagine that it's worked out so that they are ABLE to get anything they really want, but that they generally stay within a certain liveable amount, so that, against that time where "the cheers have died down" they will still be able to be"comfortable" into retirement (whatever that looks like and however long it is). They've also seen how much it costs to put on a performance production, produce a MV, and produce an album, so they might be setting aside (under the idea of "takes $$ to make $$") for a "rainy day". *Please don't #deletethechannel, OMG!! You also have to take into account that they weren't really earning serious money until around 2017.... so those earlier episodes these things were a bonus, and they still lived in dorm. Most of the clips are from either Bon Voyage or Run and they were given budgets as part of the game or trip hence them wanting extra or moaning about how expensive things are. Actually the amount of won converted wasn't as much as you think either 😂. They often gave it away to family and friends too, they often said so. They've always lived relatively humbly for the millionaires they now have become too. They do have expensive things but they are not lavish and wreckless as you can see from their apartments.. they try to live simply, still buy convenience store food etc and donate a lot of their money to numerous charities. They remember where they've come from, the struggle they've had and do not just blow the money they earn which why I respect them even more. A fun video and makes me laugh a lot but the real story is different...😂💜 you're reactions always make me laugh
