To any baby army that might see this, this edit is a bad portrayal of Suga. Min Yoongi is actually the sweetest most caring person out there. He loves the members so much and they love him just as much. His personality can be quiet at times but that doesn't mean he is mean or angry and the members know that and respect his boundaries. The reason he is seen sleeping most of the time backstage is because he stays up all night working on music not because he is lazy. I agree with 99% of your statement. While yes new army should wait to watch this video until they get to know Yoongi so that they know what he's really like, the moments in these clips are just as real and a part of Yoongi as anything else. Everyone in the world has moments where they don't want to be fucked with. Pretending any different takes part of that person away. You can't just pretend like it hasn't happened or won't happen again. These moments are very small moments that Yoongi has but is still a part of him.

I watched this video when I wasn't a fan and I fully understood that it was exaggerated for entertainment purposes. Videos like this are what actually got me into BTS because I started getting into their inside jokes and I thought its cool how they joke around about suga being savage. I mean it's very obviously not a serious video analyzing why suga is bad or whatever. It's just an edit of moments where suga was super straight forward etc (BTS also joke about these things). I mean it's just logical that if suga was savage in the mean way, then their teamwork would not be as good and their relationships would definitely not be as good as they are. I think we need to apply more logic to videos like this. Most edits are exaggerated for entertainment purposes like the funny interview edits for example. If you watch the original videos they're usually interesting because of what is being said but the edits show BTS being extremely bored or just not paying attention or are just super attracted to the interviewer😂 And it's not real but it isn't rude or disrespectful either just because it's over exaggerated

I think people take his reserved nature, need for personal space and dry sense of humor as “scary” and he Can be blunt and “savage” but he is super loving and a quiet and calm person which I think people misunderstand. Sometimes I see people confused at the bit starting at 6:43. It's a cultural thing. Suga and Jin are older than the rest, so it is impolite for the younger ones to call their names informally by saying Ya, Suga! Ya (hey) Jin! This is something only older or same age people should do unless having been given express permission by that person to speak informally. The younger members should say Suga-hyung, Jin-hyung when speaking to or about them. So the guys were being VERY NAUGHTY by saying their names without adding honorifics, that's why they were giggling, because Suga wasn't there to hear them doing it. Jin was, in fact, there and could hear them but they're not scared of Jin at all.😂

I mean it maybe funny but videos like these are the ones that spread this Yoongi is a lazy cold hearted person agenda which he also addressed one time saying how people misunderstand him coz he's not good at expressing his feelings and said that he indeed loves us, he's very thankful and he's very sorry that he's not good at conveying those emotions. When people point out something, people tend to focus on these specific characteristics and miss out on the rest. Sadly, there weren't only these videos, armys also spread this stereotype and talked about it in social media. Now his soft and generous and kind and talented self is more seen and talked, specially on twt i think, for which I'm very glad. Btw! this video is from 2017, and honestly even back then the clips were taken out of context anyway, i have no idea where anyone got this 'savage scary suga' image from, hes a softie. none of them have ever been scared of yoongi, it's usually more of a respect thing due to him being second oldest. but the way that the younger members tease him and play with him you can tell that they are NOT scared of him. he is a softie, everyone knows that. he lets the maknae line get away with so much, because they always show him respect regardless of how much they tease him or play with him. i recommend you watch "yoongi has a soft spot for jungkook" by the channel 'jiminugh' next so you can see how soft he really is :)

The clips mostly show times when he is asleep. No one would like to be bothered when sleeping but people just take it as he is scary. Suga is so sweet and is so incredibly patient when it comes to the members and their goofiness. And he joins them often that people claiming he is scary or mean is just wrong. He just like his alone time but he always participate and become all active and goofy like the rest. They just respect him and people just see it as being scared of him. Bts have even said themselves that the scariest members when mad are J-Hope and Jimin.

*Not related to this video at all, but I found out that yoongi left his home at 16 . He said "I used to work as a studio engineer while composing and performing at the same time in Daegu. But there was no one when I performed. 50 people was a lot. I lost money every day, I didn't even have money to eat after performing. Because his parents did not support him at all. Iam in no way blaming his parents, just stating the facts, things happend, people move on. Suga begins by saying this occurred for half a year and then reveals "As for me...[my parents] were very much against [me becoming a rapper] to make me reconsider [my choice], they hit [me] and fought, and things like this...so I made music [under those circumstances]. And he had social phobia and anxiety at the time---yall..this man is strong. Everything stated here is cross checked with sources from radio show interviews etc.*

Y'all are being weird about this. It's simply a compilation that shows the guys don't mess around with Yoongi the same way as the others, simply because as Jin says at the end, that's not his sense of humor and they respect that. At no point does it make any claims about his personality or that he's not kind or warm - as a matter of fact, the fact that they know to stop their jokes at his boundaries demonstrates the amount of respect they have for him.

Yoongi has said himself that he used to have a hard time dealing with so many people being in his space. He wasn't used to it & it made him uncomfortable. But over the years he has become close to the members and now couldn't live without them. I think back at the beginning the other members could have "feared" him, both in a respectful way & because they didn't want to make him mad. Actually edits are not good. Suga is not scary. Tae moved to side but yoongi rapped because jhope said him to rap and in full video, Tae yoongi rapped together. Yoongi isn't scary at all lmao he's just really straightforward, honest and really sweet. At the beginning of BTS Suga was having problems with depression. He was also very shy. He has now grown probably manages depression well if he still has it, however, fast-forward to Nov 2021 and Suga is very different. His performances show an artist full of joy and very happy where he is at. He's always been an excellent performer but today you see big smiles on his face even when the music is off. At award shows, he always sat while the members danced at the AMAs 2021 he was up from his seat and dancing and he was really getting down. I never saw that from Suga. Something has changed probably reaching his goals.

This video is sadly too popular and when baby armys watch it they immediately believe Yoongi is nothing but a savage, cold-hearted man, a man with talent, of course, but savage nonetheless. Of course it's a video with entertaining purposes, but some fans don't want or don't have the time to watch the full videos so they don't understand the context properly. When someone is described in some way, people tend to focus on these specific characteristics, and they miss out on the rest. Sometimes, the baby armys that I mentioned before don't see that all seven members diss each other constantly, they don't see that Yoongi is a beautiful person who does a lot for their members and lets them do what they want, they don't see that his patience is gold (just ask Jungkook), they don't see that he's an introverted person who sometimes can't make eye contact with his members. Sadly, I too watched this video when I was a baby army, and it wasn't until I got to know him (by watching way too many /full/ videos) that I realised that his savageness is taken too seriously and seen as something that represents his whole self, when in reality his personality is much more than that 💜

I always find Jimin and Suga's dynamic really fun! I think they both recognise each others limits really well so they can tease each other quite mercilessly without pushing it too far cause they have kind of found that balance of what's okay and what's not. The whole group definitely has that kind of dynamic of teasing each other as their way of bonding etc. Just awesome all around.

He is someone that has never raised his voice at anyone, how videos like this keep getting recommended I will never know. Watching people explain that Yoongi is a sweet and caring person, but that's really up to the person themselves to decide. Stop caring about misunderstandings that aren't even apperant. If you've been in the fandom long enough and listen to his music you understand what type of person he is. One video that shows footage that was filmed either by the member or staff and turned into a compilation isn't gonna change the type of person he is. Maybe this isn't your sense of humor, then fine it's nobodys' problem. Some people like it and some people don't. People may find this video adorable, some might find it funny, others might find it scary but don't down grade the video when each person sees something differently. And if anything the person that made the video rearly did anything except put the few clips wether they cut it short because of copy right or because they didn't want to make it too long isn't something for you to judge them for. And for new Army's, You aren't babies some of you are grown adults and some are in your adolescence or teens. If you are capable of reading and understanding this or have good insight into what people are talking about, then make up your own decisions about what you think about the boys. In the end it won't really matter since one person's opinion isn't going to change their whole entire life. The boys aren't out here to dress to impress they do music and shows because they want to most of the time. They're just enjoying themselves as musicians/producers/or dancers. Wether people misunderstand them isn't there problem, they're just doing what they want to do and they're not obligated to correct whatever misunderstandings come about. You have hundreds of videos you can look through to find information on Yoongi or the rest of the boys to come up with your own verdict. Wether you do it intentionally or for fun your going to make a judgement about the person subconsciously and that's normal, and it doesn't matter if your ot7 or not just respect the other members. People who say your not an army if you don't like all of them are speaking bull, because not everyone likes every single person in the whole world but has their own amount of respect towards other people that live in the same world they do. And frankly what the people in the comment section care about is not the actual video but whatever reputation they have in their mind that they don't want tarnished of the boys or Yoongi, and to that I say Stop that. As I've said before one video isn't going to ruin their whole lives and people will see the boys differently regardless. Because there are more than 20 million people in this fandom. So there will be 20 million+ different points of views about 7 different people.
