See this is what I love about BTS. Watching the making of this video all of their videos are like 90% real. The fire, the explosions everything. There’s like 10% of actual cgi with the mics floating and the floating burning pieces but the amount of work they put into everything is one of the reasons I love BTS

6:12 is one of my favorite parts of this mv. The background behind JK is not a mirror (notice how you don't see the camera or any of the other members in the background), so they had to do two different filmings of him dancing, one of his back and one of his front, and mash them together. It really shows how in-sync and consistent they can be when they dance

Also in case you didn't know, people at that time were accusing them of lip syncing. So instead of arguing or snapping back, Suga did something amazing. At the time this song was released,there were a group of "haters" that were saying that bts are lip-syncing.The act of "dropping the mic"indicates that they are not lip-syncing when they randomly drop the mic throughout a song.If they were lip-syncing,u would still hear the track and would not hear armys .Loved ur reaction.You should consider doing more reactions covering songs that Blaze and/or Ajj didnt react to the 1st time around

Even though it opens up with Steve Aoki‬, the song itself is written by BTS Leader “RM” (comes out of ambulance with his crazy flow) which was inspired by Obama speeches; Mr. Aoki collabed with BTS to make a remix of their original song “Mic Drop” and he was featured in their music video. He does get credit for the remix on top of being in the MV, there’s also a lyrical remix version with ‪Desiigner‬. *This song is one of many DISS tracks they’ve done directed at haters and anti fans who’s against their well earned success* FUN FACT: Almost everything used in the MV is REAL except floating mics, floating fire after literally blowing up a car and black & white scenes!

Mic Drop was the first BTS song I heard. I didn't even know who BTS was until one day I was watching Ellen DeGeneres and this really hot band of guys took the stage by storm with Mic Drop. I was mesmerized by them. As soon as they were done and she thanked them for performing and said "give it up for BTS", I've been hooked ever since. I became ARMY real fast and been sticking with them ever since. I have tickets for their concert in NJ at Metlife, which unfortunately has been postponed, but it will be the 3rd BTS concert for me. This isn't just toward the haters that have been hating their whole career. This is also towards the media that has been putting bts under the microscope and interrogating them on their every move. That's why they showed them in that interrogation room with camera and mics on the other side. It's a diss track with class. There's no hatred in the lyrics, no bitterness towards the haters, it's pure confidence and dissing with evidence to back up their points. It's pure genius, an iconic song that never gets old.

i guess you need to check as well how they make all of their MVs with the people behind. so awesome. i too can't believe that most of what we're seeing on their MVs are 90% real. even falling sometimes. the dedication they have for this craft.
