Siskel spoiled a big plot point for “The Crying Game” in the Siskel & Ebert Show when they were discussing who should win Oscar awards. In fairness, he did say he was about to spoil something and that we should turn down the TV if we didn’t want to hear it. I didn’t do it because I didn’t realize the plot point was so significant. So, I saw that film at the theater, knowing the big plot point. If you know about the movie and know about that point, you know that it really takes away from some of your enjoyment.

Rosie O Donnell was justifiably criticized for her lack of singing talent. So, on one of her episodes she had the cast of Suessical on her show when she opened her shoe and mentioned this she looked in the camera and said aggressively, " And I'm gonna sing! I'm going sing!" It was aggressive and even slightly threatening. That was one blizzard woman.

I love the Scream franchise and went to see the requels at the cinema. I live in South Africa and we have scheduled power outages throughout various periods of the year however the cinema boasts having generators so all is well although a slight delay may cause issues. Get to the cinema, pay for my ticket for the 1:30pm show. (Weekday so fairly quiet) No mention by the teller that there was a delay due to loadshedding. Get up to the ticket checking person and no mention of delays. (You can see where this is going). He just told me which screen to go to. Walk into the screen room to what I assume is adverts as it was already a little after 1:30pm looked up at the screen to see the mask reveal scene. This wasn’t even the chase scenes or the final girls walking away scene but the actual ripping off the mask scene. 5 seconds and the movie was ruined. I’d walked in to the tail end of previous veiwing. The loadshedding had caused a 30 minute delay and there was no warning or signage anywhere. All it would have taken was a sign on the door - loadshedding delay.

Apart from things that are competitive i.e. sports teams, there's no need for it. Maybe Star Wars Vs Star Trek, or MCU Vs DCEU, but if you aren't a fan of the other side, why hate?
