i HATE that people keep glorifying Dave Meltzer. Yeah, he is good, maybe great. But it is HIS opinion. Why keep asking for his validation after 273478 years?? Now fans make up their minds based on Meltzer's review, and dismiss whether they enjoyed or not a match. As someone who was watching wrestling during this time (but no longer), I kinda feel embarrassed nowadays to admit that Santino didn't really click with me back then. Looking back now, the man was clearly a genius. No matter how dumb the material, he could always elevate it to something special. Not to mention that he was actually really underrated in the ring. Just how Simon says with Sheamus, I think Santino will be considered a top tier talent that WWE will definitely miss.
