Build up to that Taker vs Brock HIAC was just an all time classic. storytelling and feud with real HIAC stipulation needed and brawl before that is just one of the best in WWE history. From then HIAC has never felt same heat or personal until Edge said to rollins that he wants HIAC another good feud after years where it needed.

Would love to see Wrestlemania 15 on retro ups and downs. I got into wrestling, specifically WWF, in January 1999 so 15 was absolutely incredible to me. Yes now I'm 34 I know its not a classic and the wrestling isn't great but it holds a dear place in my heart, like most of 99 does. When did everyone else get into wwf/what was the ppv that they were most invested in early in their viewership?

I love the Taker v Brock match. Losing the streak was such a tragedy, but controversy aside, the story leading into this match is so good. Taker even says, he accepted that fact he lost, but because Paul and Brock continued to gloat about for weeks, he eventually had enough and had to put them in their place. Taker and Lesnar fighting on Raw was the best version of the locker room stopping 2 guys from fighting ever and it leads into a great back and forth match. Make fun of the scene of them 2 laughing, but Lesnar is laughing because the tombstone didn't put him away and Taker laughs to mock Lesnar in a way saying he isn't taking that crap. Even with the screwy ending it doesn't make Taker look like a bad guy because he just wante to put the hurt on Lesnar. I wish the ending was less "lucky", drop Taker tapping and just include the low blow or something. He is still the Undertaker, one of the few guys that can properly challenge the beast and wouldn't hurt Brock's creditability in a more fair loss. .

It’s funny to hear someone mention Survivor Series 2015 in a positive light. That was my first WWE event, and I had a great fucking time, sure, Taker’s my favorite so I was gonna have a good time… but like, idk, it had good matches and a cool ending. I liked that show a lot, and I have rewatched it in full since then.

Aahhhh, so that makes complete sense as to why Bryan Danielson is so loyal still to WWE. He had to work so hard to gain back their trust, and eventually did. After the company gives you a chance to do what you love once again, especially after working so hard to do so, he probably grew a strong bond with Vince McMahon.
