The burning of the house is just one of the most beautifully unhinged wrestling moments of all time. It's the exact type of shenanigans that I love from this wacky and insane form of entertainment. This is one of the best versions of Hangman we've ever seen (although I will never get over his ability to summon beer to his hand from a few years ago). This fued is now literal fire, and I don't know where or how this rivalry escalates. Maybe a "Catch the parachute on a pole during free fall match?"

Totally agree with Simon. Hangman/Swerve needs to be a forever feud like KO/Sami or Rock/Austin. Obviously they'll drift apart after they finish this story, but fate should always bring them back together. Also, who knew that when Simon started the Hater of the Year, so many wrestlers would make a serious play for it. We have AJ flying to Australia to screw with LA Knight, Punk flying to Wales to screw with Drew, Drew stealing a bracelet from Punk and then breaking it and shoving it down his throat. But for me, Hangman might be the winner after last night. He's tapped out in a 3-way match so Swerve wouldn't win, joined Blood & Guts just to fight Swerve, caused a distraction to cost Swerve the title after repeatedly failing to earn a title match, and finally burning down Swerve's childhood home. Epic!

I'm excited for Hikaru Shida vs. Mercedes Mone for the TBS Title especially since during the reveal that Hikaru went to Tony Khan and Christopher Daniels and convinced them to ban Kamille from the Arena the outfit she was wearing made me think we were getting the return or a variation of one of the 3-time AEW Women's Champion's early gimmicks during her start in Ice Ribbons that being a heel character who was a Yakuza Queenpin who was both cunning and intelligent, and ruthless and aggressive so it'll be interesting to see if Hikaru Shida returns to that gimmick full-time or do a variation of it.

I think they're building up to a Ricochet vs. PAC feud especially how after PAC laid out Will last week he told Ricochet "Welcome to AEW" in a very patronizing manner, and then told him that he should "Get to the back of the bloody line" resulting in Ricochet running out of the ring to aid Will which resulted in PAC running off and Ricochet pretty much telling PAC that he shouldn't overlook him and look down on him as that would be a mistake.

This Hangman and Swerve feud is a perfect example of why you need to clearly establish babyfaces and heels. If Swerve had been a clear babyface, then you might feel sympathy for him.
