I know a lot of people reference his promos against AJ as some of Joe's best (WWE) mic work, but honestly what still stands out to me was during his brief feud with Lesnar. Right before he choked out Heyman when he said to him, off the mic where only the audience at home could hear through the camera mic, exactly what he was going to do to him and how it was going to hurt - and doing so calmly, and even almost politely - was so damn menacing. Definitely overlooked.

while I like walter a lot, I don't think "stiff" strikes are necessarily good. shoot hurting an opponent is not something you should do on a regular. don't get me wrong, sometimes a kick, punch or chop that really connects can have a great effect on a match. but if you get flesh wounds on your chest every time you have a match with walter, that is a problem.

I wish there were more Rey Mysterios in the business. He is the only cruiserweight they ever trusted with big wins and that's a shame. There should be more love to technical wrestlers and not just big dude. Reigns, Strowman, and even McIntyre aren't that great of wresters, but yet they are holding the major titles. AJ Styles is proof of technique. He made the IC title more sought after than the World Championship, because he is better. hahaha

Gotta put Mick Foley up there with story telling. That dude could paint a Renaissance portrait of why his match is the most important on the card. Look for his promo on Terry Funk before his One Night Stand match with him or any promo leading up to a match with Rock or Hunter. Or even promos leading up to his match with a young Randy Orton.

Bray is like a hybrid of Jericho and Matt Hardy. Like the aforementioned, his mind for the business is brilliant. Having reinvented himself twice already, when thought dead in the water, is proof of this. His story telling ability is second to none. He's always laying seeds for growth. One genius example over Twitter was spinning the yarn of giving up the title to Goldy because it was a burden keeping him from telling his story and he wanted to get back to where he was supposed to be. I love the guy.

No Disrespect to anyone, but can we roll the years back and watch any Benoit match against "Angle/HHH/KANE"? His screams, agonisingly battered shouts and painful expressions while being thrown to the opposite turnbuckle or in a submission move, is HEART-WRENCHING...!!! 💔

Grado is the greatest at being a pro wrestler. The talking, the mega star entrances, the melodramatic matches, the brutal wee bootin, and the getting the audience to sing his theme song (way before Chris Jackacho by the way). Who is the greatest at being a pro wrestler? Well Grado, my dear boy, it's yer sel!

Titus O'Neil is the only man who they could push to take the Universal title from Strowman. Titus O'Neil is the only superstar on the roster who could beat Strowman and Wyatt in a triple threat. Titus O'Neil should win the Royal Rumble and headline Wrestlemania. Titus O'Neil is this generation's Rock. Titus O'Neil was the first 24/7 champion, and for that, he will be in the Hall of Fame about 7 years from now.

HBK... the Superkick. Many have tried since, but no one else does it anywhere near as good. No one else even does it good enough to make it a believable finisher. They need a leg slap just to sell it. HBK's timing and form is untouchable.

Something that I would have added to the list is the wrestler with the best Slingblade. Probably not a move that's thought of often, but I love it. And Pentagon Jr does them better than anyone I've seen. Hiroshi Tanahashi and Finn Balor are close runner-ups but when Penta does the Slingblade, it's just cleaner and better looking than when others do it. Worst slingblade goes to Seth Rollins or Britt Baker, though Britt's have gotten better.

I wonder who would be best in the world at connecting with the younger audience? I'd guess John Cena especially considering how often he's requested by Make A Wish kids. There is also a discussion of who is best in the world at becoming a mega star that goes beyond wrestling to become well known even by those on the outside. A few names come to mind there: Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and The Rock all come to mind.
