Whatculture has over 2 million wrestling fans subscribed. Most of us would say Simon is the main reason we watch. Therefore, a Simon Miller entrant in the Rumble should equal a fairly massive pop and should happen in the next couple of years. Especially if they do a Rumble in Europe.

Simon always gets recognised when he attends live shows in the USA. I’m sure IF WWE ever did call him for an appearance (Rumble or no rumble) I think fans would know who he is and pop all the same. ( 8+ years of ups and downs of the current wrestling product will do that) 😂
@letsplayxboxsports2 күн бұрын
The vast majority of wrestling fans at any WWE event are "casual" fans and not internet obsessed nerds like us. An aew crowed would be more likely to pop at something like this, but a WWE event, it would be just a few people scattered around who cheer and more than half the crowed would be confused

Hiroki Sumi was a grand sumo wrestler in Japan his ring name was Hishofuji he made it as high as the Juryo division for the September 2011 tournament but only spent one tournament there. He spent the rest of his career mainly as a Makushita division wrestler eventually falling off the banzuke rankings chart due to injury and had to do Maezumo or pre sumo for the second time in 2015 eventually rising back up to the Makushita division winning a Jonokuchi and a Sandanme championship along the way and could only manage 4-3 winning scores and 3-4 losing scores in division 3 and ultimately retired from grand sumo in January 2017.

Small critique. The 94 rumble match happened after the yoko/taker match so Kabuki’s appearance as an aid to Yoko was earlier in the night from his rumble match appearance.
@tomseville23452 күн бұрын
Tenryu and Kabuki had a storyline in '94; they were mercenaries hired by Fuji to help take out Taker and Luger for Yokozuna. And the Rumble match went on AFTER the Taker "ascension". So THAT didn't even end the show it happened on; Vince and DiBiase just have to go "well, that was weird!" and move on to the Rumble match... 🤣🤣

The first Rumble surprise entrant as we know them now, as 2000 was deemed the first year where 70's - 90's stars were considered "nostalgic". Hilariously, though, the WWF had changed so much in three years (New Generation to Attitude) that it was easy to forget that Bob had been managing The Sultan as recently as '97...who was a focal point in the 2000 match as Rikishi! And Bob *helped* in his elimination! 🤣🤣

@dylanjamieson43003 күн бұрын
If you go out of the ring through the ropes but climb to the top, you're on the top rop. Which means, if you jump to the outside in a Rumble or are pushed off the top rope, it does count as an elimination as going from the top rope means you've gone over it to the outside.
