It was pretty clear who was going to win the Women's Rumble the moment Charlotte's entrance included pyro. The ONLY positive of this was that Roman ALSO got pyro, which probably means they leaned into it, to throw people off the scent that Roman wasn't actually going to win. (which we all pretty much expected Roman wasn't winning anyway). P.S. If Charlotte ends Tiffy Time, we riot.

Jey is a strange call for me because not so long ago all he had to do to get a title match against Gunther was ask. That rumble was promoted as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for guys like Punk or Cena and was won by Jey who had just got his opportunity and wasted it one week prior.

The mens rumble ended perfectly. We got a genuine surprise with Jay winning and Cena even teased a heal turn after the match. Cena, Punk, and Roman don't need to win the rumble to get a big time match at Wrestlemainia. Jay needed this win to actually push him to be a main event guy. Great end to a solid Rumble.

I thought last year's Women's Rumble was better. I don't have a problem with Charlotte winning, but it all played out anti-climatically. Jordynne Grace was my standout. The Men's Rumble was more entertaining, although the result virtually guarantees Cena will win the Elimination Chamber. Jacob Fatu and Bron Breakker were my favorites. The drama between Punk, Roman, and Seth was also fun.

In case anyone is wondering Jey Uso is a top merchandise seller for the company(Google it if u don't believe me). He's also extremely over with the crowd and he's not over because they force it he's over organically. So yes what culture guys they should put the title on Jey at WrestleMania not to mention he already has a story with Gunther. There is no disappointment there is no disapproval there is no second-guessing Jey Uso was a fantastic pick to win this rumble. I'm sure Cena will win the elimination chamber so him losing the rumble is fine

Since when did being a top merch guy mean anything? LA Knight was on fire all of 2023 and was booked into obscurity. Jey inherited the Uso’s entrance music and the ‘Yeet’ catchphrase and has literally done nothing of note himself. His promos are average and in ring he’s hardly a wizard. I’d actually argue it’s down to pure luck they he is were he is, could quite easily have been Jimmy if they’d given him the entrance music and catchphrase (I’d actually argue Jimmy has more charisma). That fact he’d be interchangeable with his brother should tell you there’s nothing really special about him. Upper mid carder who’s been promoted above his station. He’ll fizzle out quickly enough

Once top 3 of the Men's Rumble happened, I really wanted Jey to win at that point. Also I think we forgot that the Rumble was supposed to be this thing to make Superstars not already main eventers to get an easy way for a title shot at Wrestlemania. Having Jey to be the most unlikely winner of a Rumble in a long time restores a bit of mysticism of the Rumble being a lotto ticket for success.

Regardless of the winner they messed up so many spots. You had John cena and punk in the ring for the first time in a decade and did nothing with it, Drew’s elimination was terrible, penta got eliminated in 40 seconds, Joe Hendry got a massive pop and they did nothing with it, Logan Paul at thirty is just terrible let alone being in the final 3, Damien priest got eliminated off camera, just overall not a well done match. I don’t hate Jey but his character is not strong enough to be a royal rumble winner/wrestemania main eventer. Especially after his super kick snooze fest last year. Dude has one singles title. Just leaves me feeling a little let down. So much star power and nothing came out of it. But yeah we get to see Gunther vs Jey uso for the millionth time. Yayyyy.

I watched the event and enjoyed it from start to finish. Me and my older brother were both caught off guard by Jey winning the men's Royal Rumble but we understood why and we also agreed that the Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens match was indeed a 5 star banger. In our opinion, Triple HHH cooked tonight and told stories throughout the matches heading all the way to WrestleMania. Now I'm looking forward to seeing where things go heading into Elimination Chamber.

that was actually brilliant. Punk catches Roman and Seth from behind and it protects both of them, while distracted Punk gets eliminated protecting him. The elimination chamber match is going ot be INSANE this year.

Some people are talking about Jey Uso selling a lot of merch. Well, so it James Elsworth once upon a time. And he was arguably a better wrestler. I honestly couldn't tell you one Jey Uso promo I remember. I couldn't tell you 1 great match or feud Jey had outside of his match/feud against Roman. It sickens me to think Jey could win a World Title before Sami Zayn.

Jey USO will single handedly kill the business. You heard it here first. Someone so limited in the ring should NOT "wrestle" the main event of the main show. I don't give a toss if he moves Billions in merch. It buries the true talent on the roster and sets a terrible precedent. Jey USO is an unbelievable Nepo Jobber and I will not be tuning in to WrestleMania with this nonsense. 30 years plus and this was the straw that broke the camels back. Good show overall. Easiest complaint of the night is the Charlotte win. But i can get that coming, despite a Jordynne or even Roxanne win would be more enjoyable. The match itself was very good and is not like Charlotte is anything close to a bad worker or anything. Tag Team match was weird. Not bad for any means, but crowd was kinda deflated for it. Still, good setup for something like a Elimination Chamber match for the belts Cody vs KO was great. Almost felt like they tried to at least hint a heel turn for Cody. Or just put him over as a badass babyface. Time will tell... And them the man Royal Rumble match... First half of it: perfect as a match. Lotta fun with most participants get time to shine, while never letting the ring get too much crowded. Very good in ring stuff until Roman entering right at 16th spot. After that, we got a pretty much 15 min of very sloppy action while waiting the ring refill with big names. To then, eliminate most of them unceremoniously. Still, pretty good setup for a eventual Roman vs Rollins (vs Punk maybe) thing at WM or even beyond along the year. And the Jey win was a good surprise (sorry, never got behind the idea Cena needs to win to make the farewell feels good)

Can someone within the WWE please please please stop Charlotte Flair from doing any more crazy spots. We cannot afford to have her gone again due to injuries that need not happen. Ric Flair was around for as long as he was because he wrestled smart and thus protected his body so as to wrestle for so many decades.

I know NOBODY thought Jay was going to win the Rumble. I don't even know how I feel about it. But he has a big chip on his shoulders so I hope he'll be able to deliver for the next few months. I personally don't think he's ready for that kind of spotlight. Hopefully he proves all of us wrong.

I don’t understand the complaints about Charlotte winning the Rumble. She was obviously gonna end up at Wrestlemania, so I don’t mind her winning the rumble as her ticket to get there rather than a potentially-rushed storyline with someone. It’s not like she’ll be the only women’s match at Mania, the others have been planting seeds for feuds all year and most don’t need a title for their story.

Great event! I didn't want Charlotte to win, but it was obvious that she would. Jey was obviously a shock. But I got a lot of the spots I wanted - Joe Hendry, Roman, Bron... The only complaint is that Drew didn't get enough time to shine.

The most start studded men's rumble with the most potential to be the true greatest rumble of all time....failed .....badly. I didn't think HHH could fail booking the biggest stories...he's missed on some guys but for the most part has been great really failed and dropped the ball...I have no interest in Mania now. Punk, Roman or even Cena (who I hate btw). We're truly the only choices based on storylines. Just super disappointed in what I thought was gonna be the best rumble ever.... FML. Made Joe Hendry look pretty basic, see that even tho they're partners with TNA that HHH is sticking to Vince's treatment of all other promotions. Fatu should have been made be even more of a beast. Just so so so fucking disappointed by the Rumble by I've been most excited about since I think it was 92 or whatever year that Flair ran the gauntlet. Cody KO also was a great match with the vanilla choice for Cody...KO shoulda won,.turn Cody heel (like I think they're doing with Seth) have him win it back before Mania even if they've got the hard on for Cody as Champ. Great match boring vanilla finish. Tag Match ruined by cheap ending. Great in match wrestling but dumb ending tho I'll take the Street Prophets becoming badass. Best booked Women's Rumble by HHH but Flair even tho we all knew was gonna win... shouldn't have. Bliss got the biggest pop. Great showing by NXT stars. Hated ending but best booked Rumble this year and all time for the women..
