The Taker and Mankind fight will forever be immortalized. Also, if Taker would have mistepped, he could have ended his career then. He fought with a broken ankle. He even dropped into the ring from the top of the cell.

This technically happened before the match, but the "electrified" cage catching fire and Muta putting it out with his mist as Halloween Havoc 1989 is an all-time great "lemons into lemonade" moment in wrestling history.

Two John Cena matches, both with Cena on the bad end: Cena vs Nakamura on Smackdown to see who will fight Styles at WM. Nakamura gives a reverse exploder but under-rotates, and Cena lands on his head. Scary but Cena was fine and it really elevate Nakamura. Then, Cena vs Rollins on Raw. Rollins hits a legit knee and shatters Cena’s nose. Cena won the match, but Rollins made him and put him out for a few weeks. It really cement Rollins as a top heel.

Naito vs Omega at the G1 27. Naito botches the piledriver through the table by MISSING THE TABLE. It makes Naito’s buildup to the Destino for the rest of the match all the more convincing.

I remember sitting there, watching in horror as time after time, Shane McMahon was thrown into that ACTUAL pane of glass that REFUSED TO BREAK, no matter how many times Angle suplexed him into it. It was definitely one of those “He’s already dead!” scenarios. When he FINALLY went through the glass, I just remember sitting there being like, “I’m REALLY glad Vince McMahon isn’t my dad.”

I would like the Young Bucks so much better if their fans didn't act like they are infallible. They are fine, maybe even good, but that's about it. What they are very good at is marketing and social media. As for professional wrestling, they can do impressive gymnastics, but they can't tell a believable story or craft a convincing fight.

4:08 - Sargent Slaughter did an in air blade job and then put the blade in his shirt. Btw he "hit" the ring post, not the turnbuckle. The match is famous for the amount of blood that Sarge lost, rivaling the Muta vs Hase rematch, and was one of the only WWWF matches sought after by tape traders.

Disappointed Trish v Lita didn't make the list. The women getting to main event for the 1st time ever with Lita's journey back from a broken neck culminating in a title match against her nemesis........then she faceplants on a dive and her neck bends at at disgusting angle. I know it's similar to the UT/HBK one you actually included but in my opinion this one was more significant due to what the match meant and that she legitimately just returned from a broken neck. 🤷‍♂️

Should have removed taker vs Michael from WM 25 because it still looks scary to watch. Well should have added kawada vs misawa January 22, 1999. Where kawada who had broken his hand Midway in the match would botch his finishing move the powerbomb and that botched move was the "GANSO bomb", the reception of that move was positive and people at that time thought it's a smart move by kawada.

13:10 God Gareth you just made me feel old by saying “I was born in 1994” as I was 13 years old in October 94 so now I’m feeling old because in all honestly you look the same age as me (I even shave my head bald too 👨🏻‍🦲) so I thought you’re roughly my age maybe a few years younger but not 13yrs (thanks to my parents who have good genes my dad is 73 and looks like he’s 53, so I do look younger than I am. I was still getting asked for ID when buying alcohol when the age is 18 to buy alcohol up until I was 34 when I stopped drinking)

How can you talk about the Lucha Bros vs Young Bucks match and not talk about the moment when Nick Jackson fell off a ladder and almost decapitated himself on a table ?? This was 1000 times more impactful than the piledriver on the laddre, this was the biggest moment of the match by far and this was a botch as well

All I know is DDP should have beat Goldberg, WCW was amazing back then all except for Goldeberg. I hated Goldberg, he ruined so much of wrestling from storyline all the way to people's careers. And the amount of times he's almost killed someone by barely managing to lift them for the jackhammer is surreal, anyone else would be told to change finisher.
