@Dave Sundstrom That odd! Regarding the road rage incident that involved Scott Valentine being hit, run over and dragged by a truck in September of 1981. Because in 1990 Scott Valentine starred in a made-for-television drama titled (Without Her Consent). And there is one scene in which Scott Valentine's character is run over with a car? Now, I'm certain that there was a stunt double involved. But the very fact that Valentine was still willing to do that scene in the first place is very surprising.

One of my first jobs was for Continental Airlines. I met Scott when he flew in from L.A. and his luggage arrived on the next flight. He actually hung out at the baggage service desk and we talked for a little over an hour till his luggage arrived. Most T.V. stars would think they were too good to hang out with us "ordinary" people, but not Scott. He was a really nice guy.

Funny story....my mother sold real estate in southern Vermont in the 1980s. One Sunday morning a young man walked in by himself and said he wanted to buy a farm as a getaway place for his family. They lived in New York City and they just wanted a vacation home. So she showed him several properties, he thanked her and left. As he was driving out of the parking lot another agent was driving in. She came into the office and said to my mother, "OMG Michael J. Fox just drove out of our parking lot!" My mother said, 'yeah Mike....he just looked at some farms'. "We're at war with Rambo, and we're gonna win!" That's the line - or very close to it - that I'll always remember from Family Ties, and it was thanks to Scott Valentine's character, the very Stallone-like Nick. The line was of course spoken by Michael Gross after his character Steven Keaton first meets his daughter's new boyfriend. Unfortunately, the rise of Nick led to less lines for Mallory, and the de-glamourizing of Justine Bateman, who for a while looked like a young Lauren Bacall. She should have gone for movies in 1984.

I was just wondering about him the other day. Next you should tell us what happened to Bubba from Mama's Family. I cannot be the only one who thought he was hot. 😄

Loved Family Ties. I remember seeing Mark Price aka Skippy in a 1986 movie Trick or Treat. The movie had Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osborne in it too.
