Red Sun will usually be there, but the other four will usually reflect that person's favorite kind of music- the sentimental ballads (Always), electronic (Silent Night), more rock (Diamond), pop (New Days), or my personal favorite the offbeat stuff (And There Was No One Left). Though lately I've been having a revival of the early EARLY days (Full Moon, Over the Sky, Sleep Walking, Curse of the Spider).

@@bigparadox9093 I maintain the mere presence of guitars does not automatically put something in the rock category. Gfriend frequently used electric guitars the same way they're used in New Days and no one thinks Gfriend ever released a single rock-fusion song. New Days uses pop melodies and soft head voice so I put it very much in the Griend-style pop genre. Cheers.

Fairytale is a b-side from their newest album, Apocalypse: Follow Us, the same album that Vision is from. Dreamcatcher's b-sides span just about any genre you can think of. They have, in my opinion, a no skip discography and they're approximately 1 album away from 100 released tracks.

Its one of the newest songs. For your reference, Vision, Fairytale, Some Love, Rainy Day. As you already noticed, this song does not have the heavy music they always do. Their b-sides are to me the best of mixed genre music out there. They literally have every genre you can imagine in their b-sides. Im exaggerating but it feels like that when you explore all their music. They have always done this way since debut. Rock/metal/edm for titles n the rest is mix of everything. Ballads, reggae, jazz, RnB, disco, 80s, rap, etc. Answering your question, Eclipse is opening for anime. DejaVu and Rose Blue are game collab. Full Moon and Over The Sky are songs for fans 1st year anni and 2nd respectively. Since you are a baby insomnia, here is a recommendation for you. Explore this channel Insomnicsy. It's unofficial official fan channel where you can deep dive Dreamcatcher more. I recommend reacting to "introducing" and "this is" series to get to know the group and members better. Dreamcatcher is the genre, if you have time, you can listen to a full album from dreamcatcher such as dystopia tree of language (scream is the title track) or apocalypse save us (maison is the title track) it is a good example to show that they can pull any genre.

This is a new song. It came out on their most recent EP, which is called Apocalypse: Follow Us. It's the same EP that "Vision" is on. "Vision" is the title track and the title tracks are the ones that always have the rock/metal influence, but the group's B-sides (any song that is NOT a title track) can be a whole new genre and can of worms haha. Sometimes they do have the rock/metal influence, but other times they are just completely different genres, including reggae, funk, big band, jazz, swing, pop, synthwave, etc. Their song "R.o.S.E. Blue" is the OST for the mobile game Girl Cafe Gun. Their song "Deja Vu" is the OST for the mobile game King's Raid. Their song "Eclipse" is the OST for the King's Raid anime.

The music at the end of the lyric videos are actually to avoid copyright and monetize the video uploading the song as their own. It's like robbing the artists, someone already explained some time ago. Now related to Dreamcatcher, you must dive into their b-sides. It's amazing how they experiment with different genres and sounds, those songs are unique. In their title tracks they maintain their metal sound, but their b-sides are a whole different world. I recommend you to listen to -Starlight -Locked Inside a Door -July 4th -Some Love -Jazz Bar. I think those songs are gonna be your favs. Except for July 4th and Jazz Bar, the rest of them are their most recent songs. Now if you want your head to explode, I recommend you to listen to the whole "Dystopia: The Tree of Language" album. It's the most perfect album in the kpop history and you won't regret listening to it. It's a masterpiece.

I came to be InSomnia because of the title tracks, I stay an InSomnia because of the b-sides. It diversely different, it's Dreamcatcher genre. Some b-sides that I've insta-like would be Fairy Tale, Locked Inside A Door, alldaylong, WIND BLOWS!, Can't Get You Out Of My Mind, Jazz Bar, Red Sun, In The Frozen, Black or White, And There Was No One Left, July 7th and Wonderland, just to name a few. I tried to only name 1 b-side for each album but yeah . . . Dreamcatcher did a song for the online rpg game Girl Gun Cafe called Rose Blue. The song were written by ESTi instead of the usual LO duo.

every song is different, from the softest of ballads to metal and everything in between. the way they incorporate familiar sounds by blending and rearranging it with other sounds is what makes dreamcatcher interesting. it's hard to classify what genre some of their songs are. perhaps the best description is, it's dreamcatcher \:D/ the fan made video by insomnicsy channel(probably the biggest insomnia fan channel) is actually very good because it's a compilation of dreamcatcher's journey. they were born from failure and early on none of them knew when would be their last stage so they always tried to make the best of every moment. it's a central theme in a lot of their songs - to believe in yourself and not abandon your dreams. their story really is a fairytale. fairytale is off their new album(vision being the title track). another interesting song on this album is 'some love' which there's a live performance with a band(on it's live channel).

This is the part of Dreamcatcher that reminds me of the British "power pop" of the 1980s (Squeeze, Nick Lowe, etc...) Other songs like this are Whistle and Starlight.

There a few soundtracks that some of the members participated in. One of my favorite is "Shadow" by Dami and Siyeon for a Korean zombie-like drama series call Dark Hole. There two version to the song, a normal one and a "slow" version which give off completely different vibes and different line distribution between the two of them. In the slower version, if you watch a lyric video, you will be find that it is Dami that singing the high notes (fun fact: she has the highest range for all the members but unfortunately, her vocal technique need some work)

In addition to Deja Vu and Eclipse for King's Raid, they have the song "Rose Blue" for a video game called "Girl Cafe Gun." It was produced by someone different than DC's usual producers (Leez and Ollounder) but has a pretty neat soundscape in my opinion.

Yeah, it's produced by ESTi, who I believe does a lot of video game music. I'll be honest, first few times I listened to it, it felt a bit disjointed at parts, but I soon warmed to it. Also associated with King's Raid are Siyeon's cover of Blind Days (which I think was originally in the game already, and they replaced it with her version), and a song called Not a Dream, by Dami, along with Woo Jinyoung of D1CE and Byungmin from Classmate (they called themselves DDC, using the initials of each of their groups); the song's lyrics were written by the three of them, and it was used as part of an anti-bullying promotion.

One of my favorite b-side tracks. I’m sure Fairytale will be included in future encore setlist since it was used for their S. Korea’s tour encore recently. Okay so this might get really long. Yes, Dreamcatcher has always done this kind of songs for their b-sides. They explored so many genres i cannot even name them all, but you can check July 7th, Wonderland, Silent Night, Black or White, Whistle, Poison Love, Locked Inside a Door, and the list goes on. For ballads, they some really incredible (I personally love Emotion, but also recommend Dear since JiU (the leader) wrote the lyrics). As for b-sides that sound very dreamcatcher-y, theres Mayday, New Days, Diamond, Break The Wall, The Curse of the Spider, and so on. For your question about them doing songs for anime/games/dramas, yes they done it before both in kr and jp. In Korean, they released Deja Vu for Kings Raid (game), R.o.S.E BLUE for girl cafe gun (game too), Siyeon and Dami have a song called Shadow in both regular and slow version for a drama and I highly recommend for you to react to those, SuA has recently released a OST too named Still With You, Siyeon has a few of her own too, and as a group they have Eclipse, a japanese OST for Kings Raid anime series. They mostly go hard on their metal sound on their japanese releases, but you can find everything in their discography. Would recommend doing videos of album reactions, truly. And also a full japanese releases reaction. And another one for their solos. Honestly, its a long road ahead lol

As others have pointed out, this song is a b-side off of their latest album, Apocalypse: Follow Us. The same album that Vision is on. As you said, Dreamcatcher's title tracks all have a rock / metal element to them, but their b-sides wander all over the genre spectrum. I could try to explain it all to you but to save time and a lot of typing, I'll simply recommend that you listen to their first full album, Dystopia: Tree of Language. You've heard the title track, Scream, but the b-sides on that album come from a wide variety of genres. If you're not completely blown away by this album I'll give you double your money back. As for the music at the end of lyric video, my guess is that they are filler put at the end so that the end cards don't cover the lyrics while the song is still playing.

If you watch "Eclipse," you will definitely get the anime intro vibe... This kind of "positive" tracks are not new to DC...lot of their songs are very "positive" and encouraging... Some are cute, some are edgy, some are just mind-blowing, then all of sudden they hit you with EDM... If you look up the word "talent" on Webster's, you will see the picture of these ladies for sure... 😊😊😊

Usually the put more rock in their tittle tracks, but in the b-sides you may find almost every genre. CHeck July 7th, for example or Jazz Bar, even Wind Blows. Fairytale, Starlight and Whistle are like the whole trinity of the latest eras b-sides. About soundtracks, Dami and Siyeon made one for a kDrama that I really liked. The Drama and the song. Shadow. It has 2 versions. Please check both in one video, you will be shocked.

Also a great showcase of Dami's vocals that she rarely shows on title tracks. I love that she's known as a deep-voice rapper, but she can actually go pretty high and sing (or rap) with such a sweet voice. Many b-sides are very different from the title tracks, even though they still have rock sometimes. If you want another more extreme example, check out "Can't get you out of my mind" (a b-side from BOCA, for context). I have heard that the reason some channels put weird music at the end of the song is because they have a license to that music (idk if they composed it themselves or what), and that way they can somehow monetise the videos? I don't know if that's true, but if it is, it feels kinda scummy, but it's just a little annoying either way. If a channel does it for one video, they usually do it for all their videos, so I just try to avoid those channels. If I'm not sure, I just look up the song's actual runtime first (on the official tracklist; on Spotify or even in Wikipedia) and if a lyric video is significantly longer, I don't click on it.

Shady lyric video accounts post a melody at the end and hold a copyright on it themselves. They then counter claim the groups copyright claim their music and get all the ad money the song generates on their channel, even if the main song and the main work is not theirs.
