Nobody can capture the unique qualities of Lana's voice like Angelina can. She has only done two covers of Lana, but with just those two, she makes it clear that she could cover any Lana song. I think it would be good to see Angelina open for Lana on one of her tours (in a few years when Angelina is old enough to tour). ...and then in a few more years maybe Lana will be opening for Angelina ;)

That's not really the kind of tour she should be doing until she is a little older. That's a massive load of work to put on someone of her current age.

Dave, thank you for this great reaction, when you listen to her with the eyes closed, just as she sings most of the time, she takes really you far. This is Angelina's magic, she uses the minimum of musical accompaniment and vocal effort to achieve something that is uniquely hers, that fantastic balance of words, music and emotion that transforms her every interpretation into an experience that absorbs you completely and you realize that the little girl manages to be more emotional than Lana. 🤗 ❤️

Little fun fact: the song starts off with two very dissonant chords (G major add c-sharp; b minor add c-sharp), which creates the impression of imperfection (due to imperfect intervals). It's a nice idea to express the meaning of the song "will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful".

The way I prepare myself for that song, Dave, must be exactly the way Angelina prepares herself as she faces the microphone. Look at her, after waving at us, half a second before exhaling her first sound. Her body instrument is relax, I am relax too, she closes her eyes..., I close mine, she is going down within her soul, I'm going down too, she gathers herself emotionally, I do the same, then... she dives deep into her spirit, I dive too: she is now ready to "sing in the spirit" and I am ready to "receive her gift in the spirit". To get the maximum of that Angelina singing experience, I must copy her steps, as I undestand them, listening attentively, without any distraction in the room, focusing entirely on her vocals. Notice, while in her spirit, she does not open her eyes, and, for the milliseconds that she does, she does not see a thing, it is mechanical. In a reaction video, being necessarily distracted by the comments of the reactor, I would choose her video posted on her channel. In that manner, I can enjoy fully my Angelina singing experience as I know that I will have a great day thanks to her! Thank you, Dave!
