Thanks for the feedback, It is always a balance between including too many steps and too few, I will make an additional video that shows how to make the sketch lines that you use for rails with a loft in Fusion 360.

Was the profile that you lofted made of multiple sketches that look like a donut and maybe you didn't select the middle part of the sketch?
