I love Vuh, his photography and how real he is always but tbh it would be great if he didn't have to carry one on him. Over here in Australia living in sketchy suburbs (majority of my life) is slightly less sketchy knowing that no one can be carrying guns. I understand that my experience is completely different to someone living in America, however, I really dislike America's gun laws. 10/11 deaths per 100 000 in the U.S are due to guns compared to 1 death per 100 000 over here in Australia. No hate at all, just presenting another side. Peace ✌

@@MyNameIsPetch Right so first of all I don't live in England, but secondly, that was international news. You heard about that all the way over in wherever you are, as did I. It's international news because it virtually never happens. Same with police shootings. 316 people are shot every day in the US. Even when you adjust those figures to account for the population difference, that's equivalent to 58 people shot every single day in England. In England, one person is killed by a gun every two days. One. And of those incidences, two thirds are suicides. Police in England don't even carry guns. My point is, people in England, and in Ireland where I'm from, don't carry guns because we don't need to. With the exception of London, violent crime isn't really an issue at all relative to the population, and gun crime is virtually non existent.

ur so right about having too much gear and it messing w your head I used to have a 6D and a x100s and would often times get overwhelmed but i sold both and copped a xt2 with three lenses and that has made it an easier way to get out the door, I can shoot personal wit the 23 and shoot portraits w the 35 so it's got the balance i need.

I don’t use a regular camera bag either but I cannot recommend using a tenba protective wrap enough. I’ve damaged enough cameras without one and they’re cheap and pretty useful for whatever bag situation you use.

If you wanna save some money on Super 8, take a look at Cinelab. They’ll process and scan a cartridge for $35 (1080p) which is cheap AF for super 8. You can get 2k and 4K too ($65 I think). Lots of people use Pro8mm but they’re super expensive.

Its true about camera bags, get a normal bag and stick a cube in it, Brevite makes some nice casual camera bags.

When I travel or for work I use a normal travel backpack but I buy camera pouches to protect my camera gear. And in travelling when it’s shopping day I take out the pouch where most of my camera gear is on the backpack and and just use my phone if there’s interesting that needs to be documented.

you can get little camera bags that go inside normal bags, look into one of those maybe theyre called liners or something but its just an enclosed padded space, if you worried about getting robbed worry about breaking stuff too accidents happen

Have you heard of the brevity jumper? You say that you don’t want to make it obvious that you have a camera on you, it’s a very normal looking backpack but on the inside it’s a camera bag. I totally understand where you’re coming from with keeping your gear safe and hidden, But I feel a lot more comfortable knowing my gear isn’t rattling around in my bag, I don’t have the money to replace any of it haha
