&) I am currently going through growth pains and knee pain comes with it. I feel sluggish when playing. I am focusing on technical training. Do you think I should be focusing on fitness and workouts or technical training?
@ZTHTraining

technical bro. Fitness will come through your technical work. Get a lot of sleep and don't overwork yourself because you're going through a transition phase.

&) what’s the best natural way to improve dribbling at speed
@danielalexanderyt3232
@danielalexanderyt3232 Жыл бұрын
for me i never "naturally got good at dribbling super super fast" per say, but as I improved my ball control and being more comfortable on the ball and knowing what plays I was more comfortable with, I just started practicing what part of the foot to use to dribble and establish a natural rhythm which I simply incorporated into my muscle memory and can just use whenever I have to in a particular play. Mastering and being comfortable with the ball at first is definitely key and as you do that you will see that it becomes easy to dribble, and once you are comfortable at short distance dribble, then you just start playing more with the rhythm and being comfortable lifting your head and playing instinctively, which is what this youtuber preaches a lot, and when you see open space you will naturally accelerate more with the ball as you learn to read open spaces. Its all just steps but I recommend that you practice with placing 2 cones or items a good length apart and dribbling top speed back and forth and keeping close control around the cones and use left leg, right leg, and then both legs as you come back and forth and do a total of probably 12 reps back and forth, which would leave around 4 to the right, 4 to the left, and 4 to using both feet (can also do 3, 3, and 6 to really get used to using both feet a lot and become more a versatile player. This is really good for practicing speed with the ball and also cardio as you can also then increase the length between the cones and also the number of reps you do and shorten the time that it takes for you to turn around the cone and accelerate back taking around a touch per step, although sometimes the ball might go a bit far and you have to control it, but if you do the 1-touch-a-step rule, you will build a good habit to keeping the ball close to you and it will greatly help you improve in a much faster and efficient way if you use that dribbling technique. You can also do seperate things to get faster overall such as increasing leg strength, working on plyometric exercises, doing agility work or fast feet (using the ball as it is more efficient and you don't waste time; let me know if you need specific drills and stuff), and working on speed overall (sprints, centralised speed movement exercises, etc.) I hope this helped as this is what has helped me go from not knowing how to do anything in soccer back in late 2020 to now playing in an academy of the second tier in soccer in this country

Full field sprints with the ball. One side of the pitch to the other going as fast as you can and keeping ball as close as possible.This will help dribbling faster but not your footwork. Footwork do max intent full field freestyle
