I want to be able to put the headset on and watch a live boxing match ringside as if I were there, sit front row at a concert or court side at a ball game, surly this has been thought about but I see nothing like this available or being talked about?

@@johnrambo618 I would love to see it at high resolution, I have seen one in the past but it only issue is the camera has to be fixed and it can’t shack at all for a comfortable headset experience and it’s hard to do that on a ring apron but not impossible. I am a Quest 3 user and won't be buying the AVP due to the price. I do love the idea of attending an event in vr as if I am sitting in a seat at the venue... with the ability to jump around to different view points (NFL from the 50 or end zone). They will probably overcharge for it and make it a "season pass", but I still think it could be great if well executed. The F1 app demo also looked amazing.
@AVisionexperiment2 ай бұрын
As a quest user also, the headset is very capable for many things. Sadly its resolution and frame rate playback makes it slightly difficult to have that life like experience you will get in AVP but of course, it should be that level for the price and it’s definitely not accessible, but 2025 we will see the year of the copycats and much better price points. One has already been announced with on paper some better hardware specs than Vision Pro. Samsung are coming to the party I believe this year. So let’s hope there is sporting media being primed. If not Apple or meta, then other companies. But it’s got to be accessible from a one game cost and reasonable for a season pass. Over charge and likely scare people away.

So as I understand it so far, we are adding augmented things into the real world that entails a class of augmented objects (digitally projected 3D objects projected via light to the optic nerve and ear but also gloves for peripheral data correlated to distinct time events via entanglement) with their own digital-causal relational properties based on a simulated 3D Point-Of-View (but could be a 2D simulation but not so aw factor) plus the real world of classic objects with classically real causal properties presented as directly perceived lived-experience.

Apple needs to start spending some real money in the services area of this space if they believe in this device. This is the question, do they believe in it enough right now or is as Steve Jobs said, is this a hobby. They also really need a cheaper Vision Air or just Vision device.
@AVisionexperiment2 ай бұрын
@@NeilLavitt I think it’s absolutely in their hands to bolster what’s available but I honestly think they are letting developers build out the App Store and try and create a killer app or two. Apple will likely throw more into it when they actually do launch a cheaper model. This first gen version is a tech demo of the higher end capabilities and also to gather intel on the levels of enthusiasm from the instore demos. Feels like it anyway with a roughly 1% sale rate on demos done.

@@AVisionexperiment completely, but the analogy of build it and they will come is important. @@NeilLavitt you can buy into Canons VR video system and it’s fairly straightforward with some knowledge of mirrorless cameras but you definitely need to know how to manage manual settings. I use this system to create content all the time. The biggest issue is VisionOS doesn’t have a native immersive video player (like QuickTime VR to play 360 & 180 media) so you have to watch self shot content on third party players than currently can struggled even with canons 8K total output, AVP can definitely handle it but it’s struggling when exported at bit rates higher than 85.
