So we have a few weeks before we can get away to France BUT we still have some issues with the van that need sorting out before we can go on our adventures. This week we explore how to repair the last few issues with the caravan.

Yep... vans get broken.... it happens a ot but you just have to repair and keep an eye on things lol.... great vid as ever 'The Camp caravanners' x

@@RollingwithTheRobsons Oh smalls things like repairing the fold down table surface in the kitchen area...the odd over head light has blown and had to be replaced....the bathroom sink leaked and we've sorted that...plus two of the window section where you keep them open snapped and we replaced those too lol x

@@paoloallen So quite a few little things. Yes I have noticed there are constantly things to repair on caravans from time to time.

Well done for at least having a go and sorting them out. I have a growhouse to finish from May , a video doorbell to install from early July and a new caravan to pack for a our 1st trip this year on Saturday (only 348 miles each way) That reminds me must get my new Karcher pressure washer out of its box ( well it was new in july last year) Keep up the good vids Thumbs up

Yes I do normally try most jobs. The bag sticky is already coming off so may have to try that one again perhaps when the canopy is our so it's flat or use some contact adhesive. Good luck with your trip where you off to?

@@RollingwithTheRobsons Hi Were off to the Jurassic Coast in Dorset from beside Chester le Street to look for fossils. Found a few on Beadnell Beach when we were there last year with our last caravan (not that the caravan could get onto the beach and look for shells..lol)

Cheers Marin. I often try jobs and worst case can get someone to help. Lock was a doddle. You don’t many jobs on van recently?

I'm so OCD I would have had to change the matching lock at the same time! Fiddly job but interesting to watch.

Thanks Alasdair. I suppose I could swap over the other one as I have the parts but that side is spot on. I will just keep this for one of the others goes at some point which is bound to happen. Done any repairs to your van recently?

@@RollingwithTheRobsons Mainly the pull down blinds. The screws keep pulling out of the walls. Overcome with sealant and raw plugs. Cleaned up some dents and scrapes to the interior wood work with a wax stick.

@@alasdairclosier8548 Yes I think a couple of my pull down blinds need some attention soon enough. I once had a wax stick to do one but never got around before sold the van to someone else.

My caravan an Elddis 450ct is a 1996 and shit don't break.
