The issue was just solved with opening the photo/video from the photo app and then share to whatsapp Thanks for the video because it is what made me try it... it worked!

I had issues uploading status. It kept showing "sending update" for 24 hours until I watched this video. I changed the privacy from "only share with" to "my contacts" and it worked immediately. This is 5/07/2022
