I like the anectode around 39:40 where you discuss the burping podcast episode. Side note: I have a cough right now too.... Happy Thanksgiving Cymatics team!

This was by far my favorite episode so far and I have listened to every single one since the start. At 47:40, I loved the part where he talks about making a conscious decision to go do something that he loves that would in turn positively impact his mood and energy, rather than staying in his hotel room. I think a lot of touring artists could take away a lot from listening to WhatSoNot talk about what he does to keep his body, energy, and mindset healthy while on the road.

Great show guys, so much value; thanks!!! My favourite quote has to be 47:24: "You have to go and live life, you have to go and have fun". Taking things easy and looking for the fun in things was the biggest game changer for me as a DJ and producer. By the way, could you please turn the volume up a bit on the next episode? On my iPad I had to hook an external speaker on to hear everything you said. Thanks guys, keep up the great work!

33:11 -33:59 I love it when you on that wave and the tunes are just flowing, I go flying until it's time to come back down into reality. It only gets better after you have landed back into reality as well, because you have this nice collection of bangers to play and even remix, if you are not so good at remixing you can save all the stems and send them to somebody else who can remix, then you got that to anticipate.

My favorite part is 1:02:02 to 1:03:19. No matter what style of music you make, creating songs that you love, instead of trying to make your music sell well and worrying about the numbers, still matters and still leads to the best kinds of success in music.

"for the record guys you need to watch this episode like 4 times and crank this into your brain" - 1:01:04 so true epic !!!

my favorite part i took away from this was 20:19 where he talks about bringing a visual guy on tour because it was really cool how What So Not was more focused on his show and how he wanted to captivate the audience in front of him than captivating a following for one moment on social media. some of my favorite shows have been from artists who aren't social media picture heavy (flume, rufus, disclosure) yet their shows left an incredible impression.

For as many times as I've heard treating yourself and your body right to be better with your music from producers, for some reason it just hit differently @ 1:00:28 "Because that is the source of the creation, it's me." I felt that.. Also, genuinely was inspired by hearing about shitty mixes and it just sounding right. @ 1:07:33 "I liked it when it was super crunchy, super phasey, just in the wrong space." That's a Skrillex-ism right there. Just goes to show people there is such thing .as a "wrong-right" haha All around fucking great podcast

A question I would like to hear artists take on is finishing tracks, maybe how they push forward and get tracks done, or some tips they have for younger producers that may not be able to get into a full flow state yet. You have to put in the 10k hours, but the earlier you start actually finishing tracks, they better your overall skills can become. I see a lot of great ideas and initial loops, but then you move on to the next loop ad infinitum

Soundcloud is on the bottom because only they were making money from the exchanges, artists would pay for a pro account to get more exposure and not get any money back from that. Spotify & etc. on the other hand makes artists money.
