We went all over the USA taking Farm Roads when there were no highways. Even traveled to Central America by Van from Chicago as a Teen. The first time i flew I was 33 and only flew while working for companies throughout my Career. Just before retirement a friend from Chicago put me in touch with an RV Company in Florida which had me Literally Driving RV’s all over this Great Country of ours. Now my Choice of travel is my SUV. I admire this young man getting out of his small town to see the world. I have mad respect for his research and implementation of his ideas for his van. As an old man, I only have one small critique. In a front end medium to high speed collision, ALL of those loose items are going to become airborne and fly to the front cabin. Including that heavy piece of wood that requires the magnet. He has a good head on his shoulders and I would hate to see anything happen to it.

Hi Jacob, god speed going the way of the Mushroom industry for sure. Im a 64 year old retired guy that is just itching to get out and live the life you do. But have a wife that is a diabetic in need of care for the most part & this puts a damper on the thing that I would love to do the most that would be travel up the coast and off to Washington DC and see Smithsonian, and all the historical sights that I can before I get to old. So what I see here is one of the best most lucrative personalized Econolines that I have ever seen! by that I mean I lived in this 1970 bubble top specked just for me, cops were never a problem because I never hid anything and kept on the up n up so they left me alone. living in it from1989 until 1999 had to part with her because of my work and other things. You sir have the coolest set up, I wish I can live the life that I used to which is number 2 on my life's bucket list. I subscribed to you and gave ya a thumbs up Dude! You have shown us all that you can speck out a van perfectly on budget with out spending a shitload of money for show and looks. be safe and stay warm, respect the cops because they can make it difficult for you if you dont show em any respect, they are human too. god speed to you my friend! Wow, great video! I lived in my camper on my pick up truck. That's 6'X6' of living space for about a year. I recently purchased a 1993 G20 Chevy van conversion. The goal is to live as minimally as I can. It's semi stealth in that you may or may not tell I'm traveling/living in it unlike my truck which was a dead give-away!. I've learned so much from KZbin and trial-and-error. I'm very mechanically inclined so fabricating any solution for my needs is easy. Keep up the great work and sharing those ideas! My truck was broken into and a few low dollar items were stolen, so I really like your magnetic lock/foot locker idea!
