Take baby steps, start by seeing what you can part with, then sell that and put the money aside towards your van or vehicle of choice. When you have parted with one thing look for some else that will add to your fund, and before you know it, you will be on the road. Another way to see if this is what you want to do is plan a camping trip just a short one. Camp with your present vehicle, watch Bob Wells.

Cell phones can be unreliable navigating some times. I like Garmin because it’s fun to watch elevation changes. It’s frustrating to view ahead on the road, but when phone service is sketchy, we can find gas, restaurants, stores, parks. Glad you have both.

We are road twins! I bought this similar ford econ 150 (mines a low mile 06 with sliding doors) Im currently finishing up my self build, I did all my walls floor ceiling etc as well,shes given me a few good ideas too, mine also has a ugly faded exterior sign, and Im sanding re painting as well I love her mural! I was gonna put a large magnet over it, but a mural is cuter.".. Ill be 60 in Nov, I too sold my house this year and it sold FAST! Learn how to download offline maps from Google for when you don't have cell service. Go to google maps, click on the circle with your initial/photo in the upper right, scroll down to offline maps, select your area, create and download your map. You must do this while you have a cell or wifi internet connection. Then you can use your map when you are offline. Always carry paper maps as a backup and verify that google maps aren't leading you astray!

2 awesome ideas. I'd love a small piece of land, not far from doctors & groceries, but not in a noisy neighborhood. I almost forgot about Assisted Living Homes. They can be nice but pricey. Between Medicaid & Medicare it worked for a couple of Old Dolls I had spoken to while doing Craft Shows in them. The Admin people were polite, a little interpersonal drama was happening, but that always can happen in a work place & expected in close living areas. The food was decent & they had a hairdresser that visited. For me, the most notable was the mini kitchenette, 2 big closets, private bathroom, with a buzzer button if personal help was needed.

I find LEDs headlights to be quite blinding and always try to look away so I don't have dark spots in my vision.

I just ordered a Pulsar inverter generator. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. How well does your work?

I haven't had any trouble with it so far. I also have the 3300 Generac but it is bigger in size and weighs much more. It is easier to start-one pull. The pulsar sometimes takes 3-4 pulls to start it. Other than that it's done what it is supposed to do for me.❤

For me I have the Coleman Mach RV air-conditioned on top of my van, I carry a generator to power it. Sitting in a parking lot with the generator and air running right now 😁

@@edwardpeders9582 Yes I'm going to have the soft start put on when I'm back in my home town. They told me I needed at least 2200 watts for the air. My generator is 4000 watts so I feel I'm good. I'm still going to put that soft start on though 😁
