What a beautiful sister you are Vivi 💞 that feeling of weightlessness with the ocean touching every part of your body, the vibration of life through the movement of the waves, inhaling the salty air into your lungs is so peaceful, healing experience. Allowing the waves to take each thought captive, releasing the sadness to the wave as it goes back to the deep, returning with thoughts of the next season of life for you. My big sister died just over two years ago. I think it's been beautiful seeing you fulfill your sister's wishes. A very emotional journey but also a very touching journey. My brother-in-law and her children scattered some of my sister's ashes on a beach she loved walking on. Thank you for sharing such a private time with us. Such a beautiful way to say adieu to your sister..she’s waiting for you to come back to the sea 🌊 my hair is very wavy maybe it’s from all the sea swimming 🏊🏻‍♀️ 😆I find that down here on the coast nobody ever notices body shape were too busy getting in the water or enjoying the beach. I’m over 60 and my knees and hips definitely benefit from sea swimming. So proud of you for going for it. 🤗xxxx

There is definitely something about a thatched roof, I lived in a thatched cottage in Hampshire for nearly 18 years. Still catching up on your postcards from Dorset, we have now arrived back home with lots of fossils and feel refreshed ( going back again in a few weeks ). Yes I'm a Similar age and all the elm trees were cut down on the local green actually called Elm Green... I remember hearing the sound of tree cutters and feeling sad because all the trees around the green turned to stumps ...i was very young but felt a sadness 💚

I have watched each video of this trip with a big smile and a tear. What a star you are. And I'm sure your sister is looking down with love and happiness. Every time the sun shone on you, I thought that was a hug and kiss from your sister. Reference the pebbles. I have a large jar at home filled with pebbles and shells that each of my daughters has collected. It's my jar of mummy memories of our beach days out. This year, I made a fairy garden at the base of my rotary line, and my first pebbles for this year are from my trip to Wales with my daughter. This time round, I'm collecting the pebbles, and I have dated one and put in the fairy garden. My knees came out in sympathy with yours 😂. I had a walk along part of Sheringham beach today. Blustery and windswept 😂😂 It's good to blow out the cobwebs. Wishing you all the best Vivi. Xx

We did the walk today from this beautiful beach where I collected lots of horse chestnuts at the far end and having a paddle, then along to Swanage and back to this beach again for another paddle. Just got in the door absolutely exhausted, but I couldn’t help but think of you most of the day. I have had my life change 9 years ago after a spinal injury left me with a chronic pain condition for the rest of my days, second paddle was up over the top and a paddle by the groins at the wild end, I was one of those serious walkers with the gear on but not for long as the boots and socks came off and the shorts were rolled up to my knickers 🤣. Today was stunning, bring on tomorrow ☺️🥰

I'm so proud of you for swimming. My body is completely different to what I was too , I need to get past the embarrassment I feel in swimmies . You beat me by a year. The last outdoor swim I had in the Oslofjord, in 2018, skinny dipping with 3 of my girlfriends. One of them has a small motorboat. We jumped off that one. The interesting part was climbing onboard again. It was a small ladder, but hard to climb. But we managed it, we had so much fun laughing and joking, pulling and pushing each other on to the boat again! 🤣 I must admit, it was a couple of glasses of wine involved. 😂 How wonderful you got a swim, and lovely weather for late September. You have got a nice tan on your mini vacation. You will always bring your sister with you in your heart. What a wonderful thing, the connection you had. Sending a virtual hug to you Dear Vivi. 😘

Walking is the best for your body and your mind! I've been doing a lot of walking myself recently as I just moved to an area that has six beaches close by within 15 minutes! I felt the same way you do about your body. I was so embarrassed put on the swimsuit but then I thought I am missing out on so much by worrying about what other people think! So happy you got to go into the sea and enjoy yourself! So rejuvenating to be on the beach near the water! So good for the soul! I'm so sorry about your sister I didn't know until now!😢 I collect pebbles and sea glass too! I love the flat stones!
