The RTX 580 is basically the same as the RTX 5080 but with one less fan and the Nvidia logo removed for licensing reasons. Also great value for money and much easier to get right now than the 5080.

Agreed 100%, I learned this the hard way years back buying a green Antec Earthwatts 430 watts PSU, thinking I would save some money on the PSU, and my Power bills, but I only ended up getting the dreaded magic smoke on a Sunday afternoon, Thankfully being someone who does PC salvage/repair as a side hustle, I had a spare Rosewill 450 Watt PSU that saved the day, of course this was back in the AMD Athlon II X3/X4 days when 500 watts was overkill bill for most builds, btw that Rosewill PSU still works to this day, and that AMD Athlon II X4 system still works running Solus Budgie Linux in my guest room as a backup machine thankfully with no other damage.

@@XXassassinXPR It is less complicated than you think, first, you have to make a pair of small PCB that'll reroute pins from the portable CPU layout to the regular CPU one while embedding the decoupling capacitors, as this kind of device generates parasitic capacitance. Then you'll have to make a BIOS using voltages, frequencies, etc, adapted to this particular mobile CPU (it's all written in the specs), for that, as manufacturers are not friendly at all to small businesses (they are all deadly afraid of the disruption a small company or even an individual could bring up, making their own business plummeting in the blink of an eye¹), the actual only solution would be to use the LibreBIOS, but for this reason, it is very limited in terms of supported motherboards. :/ The other solution, may be borderline to legality (?), would be to disassemble a regular BIOS, modify it, compile and install to replace a regular one (not impossible to do, especially as the specs are know, but may need a respectable time taken to read and take notes as a preparation). ________ ¹ - You'll soon have a ferpect example of what I say, when E.Musk will release a regular+satellite phone that'll allow you to phone almost everywhere for free when using satellites while the telecom industry will spend its time to yell at death and will try to have restrictive regulations voted. This is the typical example of a destructive creation. Note that this telecom industry has purchased the rope and built the gallows itself, as everywhere plans are engaged to replace regular phone lines (on copper) with VoIP, which is a total nonsense until we know how to protect the planet from huge solar CEM that'll kill the Internet (and energy) infrastructure.

I have to locked version of this CPU (qt2j or whatever) judging by the packaging exactly from the same source, I have it running in a DDR3 motherboard with H110 chipset, it runs fine, I did a .1v undervolt and upped the north bridge clock (that made a big difference, out of the box it was running at 2.4ghz and it was terrible), oh, the seller sent me a bios file, and I just flashed it (with a common bios flashing utility) with a different CPU and it worked fine. I like it

Personally, I would recommend checking out the hp z440 motherboard. Supports up to 256gb ecc slow (2400 with most capable cpu) and lga 2011v3 cpus, aka my goats the e5 2400 v4 ($5-7) and the e5 2690 v4 ($25-30). The z440 system is a budget monster.

hey man the voice actor did a great job at not sounding like ai like he has in previous videos but i think you should focus on improving the timing of flavor or flair to your writing, maybe even some sarcastic comments or other comedically timed lines + having the voice actor exaggerate/emphasize only when specified rather then doing it at sorta random times (or see if he wants more creative freedom in how the script is portrayed) . otherwise great video, background music could be just a tiny bit louder or better picked/timed for engagement but overall its quality content and im subscribing.

For the longest time, removable BIOS chips were not on consumer motherboards. If you look at server boards they most likely have a socketed chip. I can't remember the last time I had a BIOS related problem from a bad flash but it is nice to be able to recover from that easily if you are willing to wait for a new chip or even wait to get your chip back flashed properly.

Stalker 2 uses Uengine, force disable TAA to gain more frames, or run at higher resolutions and disable AA completely in game. High textures need more vram, if you can lower that, everything else will run just fine.

You can likely improve performance further by overclocking the L3 Cache & Ringbus, aswell as lowering tRFC/increasing tREFI to get the memory subsystem as fast as possible.

I use a mutant i9 12900HK (mobile chip) on desktop. its awesome. got it for 200$ and the 14 cores n 20 threads can literally handle anything.

For me its the i9 13950hx which at the price i got it for was £208 or $268.44 there only issue with that cpu was how picky it was with which motherboard it was slotted into and ram but after getting right motherboard and ram no issues besides needing to get a better cool lol.
