That course is a real workout with all those hills and back and forwards. Great place though

I am sure that it’s easier once people have played a course a couple of times. I tend to get lost easily when I am concentrating on filming and playing etc all by myself

Whealdream looks like fun. It’s certainly now on my to visit list.

Nice vlog John. The rest and Dan's tuition look to have benefitted you.Played well and you didn't pressure yourself. Nice little course with great views. Stay safe and thanks

Hi there David, thank you for watching my friend. Yes it was a surprising course as I didn’t know much about it until I played it. I had no idea of the slopes really at all. But yes hilltop courses are certainly sole of my favourite places around. I do get distracted by the views at times.

I love to see places diversifying into other forms of golf and can’t wait to give it a go.

Well played Oggie, there were some really confident shots there. Looks like Dan’s lessons and your hard work are starting to pay off.

It was tougher than I expected my friend. A lot of fun though. I think we all need to go and play rugby golf or football golf on a video there too.

Aww thank you so much my friend x I am trying to concentrate more on what I am doing so I think that’s helps too. Filming has so many distractions at times.

I remember Neale well from his time at Bristol Shoguns. Everywhere is baked at the moment. I played Bigbury in Devon earlier this week . I normally hit a five iron about 180-185. Downhill, downwind off the first the GPS measured my tee shot at 262 yards. Mind blowing 🤯

He has a great biography out too I believe. Should be well worth reading. I can’t wait to hit one decent drive on a full length course just to see how far it goes ha ha

I don't know if you have done a video on Bigbury but it is a very good course. If you decide to come back to Filton, please let me know. I few of my golf buddies follow you

I am hoping to do lots more at Filton so yes I will be back my friend. Have some plans to do some stuff with Giuseppe there too.

Giuseppe ( better known as Spags ) won a competition today playing with one of our low handicappers. It was a South West Region event at the Kendalshire. He is also an excellent instructor

It could be very difficult for a number of courses soon as I believe a hosepipe ban maybe coming into operation soon in various parts of the U.K.

Beautiful weather but you’re right everywhere is struggling with scorched grass and those massive black flies bite bad !! Great place though Oggie

I have to admit that I am struggling with the big horse flies all over the place wherever I go. They give a nasty bite don’t they x
