Shane Heinze - that video has professional written all over it. a large enjoyable story was told and not one word was spoken. now that takes an excellent eye and well thought out camera work. I'm guessing 150 to 200 video clips edited together to make this production.

Memories flood back watching this. No other video on youtube captures the essence like this. Playing in the grain as a kid. Wagon and tractor rides. No one left out. Me rock picking in front of the older guys and us stopping on field edge for a meal surrounded by nature. Great stuff.

I think that if every kid in America could spend a summer on a farm and help work that farm, there would be a lot less troubled youth out there. I lived in Coronado Ca from when I was eleven years old thru my high school years and every summer I flew back to Missouri to,my uncles farm to help out. We did a lot of custom baling and late night dinners in the field and tractor pulling and canning veggies from the garden. It gave me my work ethics that I carried on thru life. I ended up owning dump trucks and hauling cars and my name was always on the door. I thank God I had family that farmed. Lots of great memories from my teenage years. This was a great video and thank you for sharing it....what a great family!!!

Exactly. I've always thought it would be great to take the family to a farm for a few weeks and live and help there so they can see what it's like. See what real work with the earth is like.

The area looks familiar. I grew up doing much the same from SW Kansas South thru the Oklahoma Panhandle and into the Texas Panhandle. In the fields with tractor, harvest time loading my truck from combine to local elevators, to hauling to Houston, Tx. Eating harvest meals in the fields. Biggest thing missing I see is having cabs on the combines and tractors. Many good folks worked the harvests. Great video!

This is the way its always been on my family farm. We have 15,000 acres of rice fields in Mississippi and as a family everyone spend there weekends, fall, winter, summer, spring, and thanksgiving break on the farm, either helping harvest, plant, or sell the crop that’s the way is been for 70 years. I’m 16 and have known how to dive a tractor science 7 and a combine since 9 and started hallling grain in the 18 wheeler she. I was 14.
