Along the Edge 2019 - Harvest in the Last Best Place

Harvest 2019 in Central Montana brought back the challenge of harvesting wheat, barley, peas, and canola in a remote area 60 miles away from the nearest grain elevator. From grasshoppers to broken hydraulic lines, to beautiful sunsets, this year was yet another adventure.

Words cannot describe how privileged I feel too have watched that. The scenery, the smiling faces and the family pride. Simply put that was ABSOLUTELY amazing. God bless the farmer

NEVER get tired of the scenery. Dramatic does not do Mother Nature justice. Lost count of the number of times I have watched this.

Thanks for watching everyone! A couple things: First, if anyone has seen Legarms from Welker Farms please call the #findlegarms hotline at (406) 404-6528. Second, please keep all the farmers who are still currently harvesting cereal grains and pulses among the snowstorms in your thoughts and prayers. It has been a long harvest for them. Thanks!

AgriStudios Thanks for the prayers. Here in North Dakota it has been a challenge for a lot of us. Can’t get to fields and if you can all we do is rut it up or get stuck. Sliding sideways on hillsides. Been combining since first week in august and only got 400 acres harvested out of 1200.

I wish the rest of the world was as blessed as we are in central Africa we farm about 1500 hectares of wheat and beans with the occasional dry land seed maze/corn, Our only weather related problems are late rain and our dams only fill a month later than usual and when poachers start fires in the dry season

I'm from NZ but have visited the mid west USA on two different occasions and worked on the great plains of Western Australia. You have captured the very essence of what it means to be a farmer anywhere in the world. Brilliant composition and thank you. You do live in an amazing place.

On behalf of the millions of farmers across North America and Canada I want to " thank you " for making this video . It does my soul and heart good to see someone is telling the story and life of a farmer . Too many " city folk " have no idea what farm life is really like . The hard work , the chances we take with weather and the markets we get paid , the investment it takes to put a crop in the soil , what we have to pay for machinery , and yet I can safely say that from a farmers aspect there is nothing else we would rather do then farm . Keep up the good work agristudios . your video's are as good as Paul Harveys videoSo God made a farmer .

Great video I am 68 years old in August and that brings back a lot of good memories I was out there in the middle 70's and I truly loved it out there , I left Alabama in the 70's and spent 5 or 6 winters out there in a small town called Geraldine Montana and worked most of my time there for a man by the name of Mike Buck and his family they where great people there in that small community , wish I was back there a lot of times but I know i could not handle the winters now being eat up with arthritis anyway Mike's farm land was on the Missouri breaks pretty close to the Hole in the wall .Anyway be safe and keep up the great videos. God Bless Yall

The field meal time does reminds me of my childhood days in outback of Australia when harvest time was on as most families then would shut down all the machinery to take a well earn break meal n to enjoy plenty of healthy home baked dishes freshly prepared by the ladies,.unfortunately now days this rarely happens. Yes God has surely blessed your families.
