Good to see your dad again. Watch out for land developers. They want to build houses on farm land. That's the latest fad that people want nowadays. With this crazy weather you can expect just about anything growing wherever. It's nuts out there. God Bless everyone, tell your dad hello.👍

Kip, the thistle stoppers on my weed chart: Sorghum-Sudan-Grass and apparently Chickory (check that one, I'm still leery as it was always a roadside weed for us on the farm). My own experience is a strong stand of Winter Rye could do it too (drill Aug 15-Sep 15th for us Michigan folks then plant corn or beans into it standing mid-late May to maximize biomass and weed stopping, knock it down with a roller crimper, baskets on a vertical tillage machine, or go down and back with an old cultipacker after corn/beans emerge before V1 to leave a thick weed-stopper mat). Winter rye can also knock out Quack Grass after a year or two and is much more effective than a wheat crop.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Wow. You are right about that first wheat field, lots of weeds and thistles. Rented ground can be tough to farm but you all got through it and that is what counts. The second field was much better. Lonnie doing a good job on the hay rake. Good for him. Looks like some good hay. Nice and thick. Small fields are hard to cut. Lots of turning to do all the time. Thanks for the drone footage of the hay fields. Always enjoy your drone footage shots. Interesting. Not on to Milking after a busy day in the fields. Busy busy time of the year. Never see too much wheat. But yours is nice and tall. Hay fields keep you busy Also. Thanks for everything Kip. Take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.

Hopefully you don't move that wheat straw from that field off the place. Rented ground can sure be tough going sometime when you inherit all the stuff someone didn't control before you came in. Thanks for sharing the video!

I love the older American build John deers but that 5325 sounds awful , is it really a John Deere or is it made under licence and only badged as a Deere ? , love your videos , regards from Southern Ireland 🇮🇪
